Character History:

Her mother was barely 40 turns when she recognized the newly bonded 10th of the Chosen. She was still a soft and gentle girl who could not stomach the hateful, hurtful male to whom she was bound by fate. Throughout her pregnancy she defended the child within her from the pain and hate her soulmate turned on her. She kept the girl child from him as long as she could, Ashiral was nearly three hand of turns when her mother died. That early learning and the subsequent viciousness of her sire shaped Ashirel's strong mind and stubbornness.
She had learned early to resist the forcefulness of her father's mind and eventually grew strong enough to block herself off from the Black Sending of the new Lord of the Mountain. She did not escape those few turns with her sire without concequence though. Taldiar healed most of her hurts, though the damage done to her wrists so frequently could not help but scar them. Draven took immense pleasure in knowing his child was marked by his 'love' and she would never forget the lessons he had done his best to teach her.
At the age of barely four eights of turns Ashiral fled her sire, hiding amid the nooks and most often with the old weaver, a frail elf named Zantin. He taught her all he knew of both weaving and tanning, the dyeing of both leather and cloth and the stitching of clothing. For the most part he was far more gentle than her sire and almost affectionate since he no longer had living family of his own.
A hundred and more turns of this life and the old weaver died in a rock slide. Ashiral was buried in it as well but her position had been far more sheltered than that of the elder. When she awoke from unconsciousness she had been under the rocks for nearly two days. No one had tried to find her, no one would come to her aid. Carefully she began trying to dig herself out. When this caused a cave in she nearly died, but as the crush touched her outstreached hand it halted, solidified and then opened. She had no idea at first why she was not dead, but as her gaze lifted and she saw the first point of light she realized what she had done.
She was weak and it took much for her to climb from what had nearly been her grave, but she did it. Through the turns since that time she has learned to control the magic more precisely, and has managed to remain relatively unnoticed.
