Once the YT-2400 Corellian Lady has settled into the cradle it is only another moment before the ramp lowers and Kiare emerges. Pale golden boots first, and then skin, and then the hemline of a green dress that swirls around the slender body in the breeze of arriving and departing ships.

Jayden spies, in the course of his surveying the area, the woman departing from the Corellian Lady. His eyes don't exactly bug out of his head, but they widen slightly, before returning to normal. He smiles slightly, as he watches her. All of her. He does not move, however, as he isn't sure if that is who he is supposed to be meeting here.

Another starship lands on Corellia, and the Bothan fails entirely to care. His once-well-groomed fur now lies in patches down his befurred body. Old scars on his face stand out viciously against his pale skin, and he is the very image of failure. There is a datapad in one hand, which the Bothan surveys slightly distantly, not exactly looking at the pad, but more through it. He stands directly in the centre of one of the main throughfares, yet seems not to notice the crowds of sentients passing by him.

At the bottom of the ramp Kiare flips open the datapad again and studies the picture there. She stops one of the many spaceport personnel and show them the picture and is pointed in the right direction, toward Jayden.

Jayden doesn't move as he watches the woman, even when she is pointed to him by the Personnel of the Spaceport. He just continues to watch her. Apparently he is more shocked on his spot than it actually seemed. Finally, after a moment, he regains his composure and pushes himself off the wall, trying to keep his cool. He slowly walks in her direction, to meet her half way.

There is apparently some form of error on the pad, and the Bothan hisses with annoyance, his fur rippling in emotional accordance. He flips off the power tab, and slips the device into a pocket. For the first time, apparently, he looks up, and realises exactly where he is. A hand reaches up to the chain at his throat, slowly.

A slow smile touches Kiare's features and she contemplates the datapad again, "Jayden Hawke?" She looks the young man up and down and there's an appreciative twinking in those dark eyes as she looks him over again. "Kiare Quinn," her hand is offered, "You were told to expect me, yes?"

Jayden eyes Kiare for a second, a small smile gracing his face. He takes the hand offered and shakes it, "Yes, I am. It is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Quinn. I suppose I expected someone more.....uniform?" He grins slightly, "Not that I am at all disappointed."

Hawke....Quinn....Expect...Snatches of the conversation carry their way towards the Bothan's ears, and arose a certain interest. The first name means nothing to him, but the second? He recalls it distantly, like a memory of another life. But that life is one he needs to reclaim. Smiling slightly to himself, the Bothan begins to stride unsteadily towards the pair.

The handshake is firm and laughter bubbles forth, "Oh my. Uniform? This is as uniform as I get unless I'm swooping. The vac-suits are all pretty standard save for color." She looks him over again, "You have everything you'll need?"

Jayden chuckles slightly, hesitant to let go of the hand, though he does, "Yes, save the fact that I am unarmed and minus a datapad. Mine other one got destroyed in a...." He pauses for a second, ".....er ...accident."

Almost there, now, and the Bothan is ready to make his move. His left leg, the not-entirely-biological one, grinds a little, before the gyros fall victim to the well-known fault in such a model. His cybernetic knee falls helpfully sideways, causing the entire body of the being to collapse into the space between the pair, flat against the concrete floor.

Kiare grins, "We'll take care of those things soon. For now we need to get you loaded on the the Lady, we'll be leaving shortly." She blinks as the space between them is suddenly occupied and she steps back, "Hello.. uh.. Bothan?" She's not sure what to call him but he's obviously Bothan so she'll stick with that.

Jayden smiles at Kiare and nods and then arches a brow as the Bothan lands between them. He just eyes the fallen Bothan for a second, before looking questioningly back to Kiare.

Lying flat, face-down, on the spaceport ground, is quite likely the most vulnerable position the Bothan has found himself in for many a time. It's also quite where he needs to be. "Damn prosthetics," he mutters to himself, while his knee continues to sit at an odd angle below his leg. "Well, don't just stand there, idiots," he calls upwards in the general direction of the pair. "Help me up!"

Kiare crouches and arches a brow, "I am not an idiot. Do I know you?" She smooths the skirt over her knees and dips her head to study the Bothan, "Someone should fix that knee for you."

Jayden shakes his head and crouches, "Idiot, is definitely not the safest word to use to describe me." He frowns slightly but moves to help the Bothan up.

The arm extended by the one known as Hawke is taken by the Bothan, who pulls himself up against his weight, reavealing the heavily scarred face in full light. An arm loops around the man's neck in a steadying manner, so that a clawed hand is in exactly the right position to unsheathe and provide rather an ominous distraction to the man's throat. "Now that wasn't clever, was it?" The befurred one asks. The left eye swivels to face the woman. "Greetings, lady. It's been some time since I've encountered your type."

Kiare arches a brow and rises, "So you don't want help with that knee. Fine." She tips her head, "What do you mean about my... type?"

Jayden arches a brow and looks over at the Bothan, not moving his head. He does not react to the claw at his throat. He does, however, remain slightly crouched, "If you want my help, you won't threaten me. Or I can drop you right now and break off your finger."

A distant look, racking her brain for any clue on that name. Vaguely familiar, a file reference, an off-handed mention, something. Kiare shakes her head, "No gongs. A tiny bell, but no gongs. I'm sure someone mentioned it but that was likely months ago." She gestures to Jayden, "If we're really on the same side, perhaps you'd be so kind as to release my friend."

Jayden eyes the Bothan again and then stands with him, as the knee clicks back into place. He shrugs off the Bothan's arm as it seems he can now stand on his own. He does not comment any further, however.

The claw slides away, and the hand releases the man's shoulders. "There," Fegbarr says, slipping the hand into a pocket. "And you're right. It was indeed months ago."

Kiare nods, "I will tell Mr. Sylas of your.. return. I'm sure he will know what it is that you require." Her dark gaze shifts to Jayden, "We should be leaving soon. There is an appointment to be kept."

Jayden nods to Kiare, "Indeed." He smiles slightly, "Lead the way?"

The Bothan nods. "Excellent." An eye rolls around to glare at Jayden. "And try not to be so trusting next time, friend. It's not a friendly galaxy, you know."

Hyperspace to the Crusader

-----------

Emerging from the cockpit Kiare brushes her hair away from her face, "We're here. Welcome to the NRSD Crusader." A grin flickers across her features.

Jayden smiles and nods to Kiare, "Thank you. You definitely are a good welcoming party." He grins slightly, "I appreciate you coming to retrieve me."

Kiare shrugs and moves closer, hips swaying that grin reappears and settles onto her features with eyes dancing. "No shirking duties for me."

Jayden smiles slightly as he watches her, "Indeed. Can't ignore orders, I suppose." He watches her carefully, grinning himself.

Kiare laughs softly, "So.. do you want to see what a star destroyer looks like?"

Jayden runs his eyes over Kiare and seems to be debating that for a second before saying, "Sure....why not."

Kiare looks you over, her tongue wetting her lower lip before asking, "Or was there something else you were thinking about?"

Grinning Kiare nods, "There are options. It depends on what you have in mind. Why don't you... tell me?"

Jayden smiles slightly and has to lick his own lips this time, "Hmmm.....I don't know if I should......" He steps once more to her, close now....very close, his eyes on hers now. He murmurs, "Such a beautiful woman......" He sighs and, seemingly captivated now by her eyes, leans towards her.

Letting him lean in she lifts her face to his and whispers, "No more beautiful than you are handsome." Her eyes flutter closed, a hand lifting toward your cheek, fingers itching to touch your skin, to feel the warmth of you.

Jayden smiles and places a gentle hand on her wrist as he kisses her gently, on the lips.

A soft Mmmmmmmm as Kiare returns the tender kiss, not minding at all that your hand catches her wrist. Her body shifts a little closer to yours as the other hand rises to your shoulder.

Jayden reaches his other arm around her waist, pulling her in as he deepens the kiss, enjoying every minute of it.

The hand from your shoulder slides up to the back of your neck as the presses closer to you. Kiare's mouth meets yours in the deepening kiss.

Jayden smiles slightly into the kiss, allowing it to linger a bit longer, before pulling back slightly, reluctantly, "Well..." he murmurs, "....I suppose this is one way to begin my new career." He grins slightly.

Kiare's fingers caress your cheek, "I'm not going to complain about the way you choose to start." Sparkling dark eyes lift to yours and she grins, the fingers at your neck trail down over your shoulder, "I enjoyed it far too much to complain."

Jayden smiles and nods, "As did I." He smiles and just watches her for a second, before leaning in and kissing her again, with no warning this time.

There aren't going to be any complaints about that either. Kiare meets the kiss, responding to the sweet touch of your lips.

Jayden kisses her for a long moment before finally pulling away, looking at her, "Perhaps that...tour...now?" He grins slightly, "We could continue this later?"

Kiare grins and her hands slide down to your chest, "Of course." She steps back slowly and looks you over once again, "Come on." Reaching she presses the release for the ramp.

Jayden smiles and nods, following her.
