Kiare comes down the ramp of the Heartbreaker, skirt swirling around her thighs. Brushing a lock of hair back from her face she turns on the comlink and then steps off the ramp. Turning she punches in the lock for the ramp and up it goes securing the ship.

Tyler Damion sits underneath an X-wing with its engine compartment area open. He growls as the ship begins hissing and his astromech begins to warble and complain, "Shutup Nate! It's a standard maintenance check I swear I won't break the bloody thing!" Tyler sighs and takes his tools and begins probing the interior of his vessel. The Droid of course wasn't impressed and worked itself free and managed to get down to where Tyler was working, its own tools appearing and it probing as well.

As the YT-1300 Callandor streaks over head, the star port bussles with activity. After circling the port twice and finally getting landing clearance, the freightor lowers its landing struts and begins to set down. The hydrolics of the struts hiss as the weight of the ship settles onto them. As soon as the ship has powered down, the boarding ramp lowers and a man clad in his usual black walks down towards the tarmac. Reaching up, Jaren pulls off his sunglasses and looks over the port, smiling to be back on solid ground. After a moment he sees Kiare and begins to make his way over to her smiling, "Hey there, Beautiful." He grins a bit as he finishes walking up to her and gives her a quick hug, "Have a good time yesterday?" He smiles into her eyes for a few moments before looking the port over once more.

The todo under the X-win is heard and Kiare turns that direction to find out what's going on. The subtle sway of hips and swish of skirt carries the woman over to the ship where she simply stands back and watches for several moments. A half amused grin slowly lifts the corners of her mouth and brown eyes are set to dancing.
When Jaren approaches the hug is returned and she nods, "Of course. We had a picnic and a swim."

Fluids begin spilling out of the ship near the two, the Corellian's eyes widen in surprise, "This is your doing Nate." He says slamming the back of his tool against the droid who warbles and replies the favor with a shock to his hip. Tyler yelps and leaps up hitting his head on the X-wing's lower hull. He turns back to his droid, "two words scrap bucket.. Memory Wipe!" the droid replies with what seems to be cursing in binary as it moves over to seal the leak and clean the mess up.
The older Corellian moves confidently over to one of the cargo sides of his X-wing and pulls out a jacket, inside is a pair of pants with a Corellian blood stripe proudly displayed. He was a combat veteran and a blasted good pilot. He puts the coat in and takes a rag and wipes his hands off turning to see Kiare and of course Jaren.
"Force bless me. I Think I see an angel." He declares and offers a Corellian smirk his hands brushing his mop of black hair out of eyes.

Jaren smiles at Kiare for a moment as he watches the exchange between Tyler and his droid, an amused grin creeps across his face as the man is jolted by the machine before it moves to take care of the leak. Lightly wrapping his left around around Kiare's waist he smiles again as he kisses her on the cheek, "Glad you had fun." Turning his eyes towards Tyler once more he can't help but off a grin as he begins to speak a little louder so that the man can hear him over the dim of the starport, "Seems your droid has a bit of spirit programmed into him." He grins broadly and shakes his head, "But at least he seems to have some semblance of an idea what he is doin."

Laughter bubbles forth from Kiare and she winks at Tyler, "Better be careful, hon. Words like that and I'll have to start showing up around you more often."Her cheek is put out to accept the kiss from Jaren and a hand smooths the skirt. That grin is back and she elbows Jaren slightly, "Do try and be nice to him."

The Corellian's hand went behind his head as Jaren speaks before Kiare, it'd be lying if he heard everything he said but droid and personality was enough help him formulate an idea for a reply, "Uh yeah N8 here has been with me since before the Battle of Yavin, I inherited from a fallen wing mate during the Rebellion, he was a character in those days, he's just gotten worse over the years." He smirks, his deep hazel eyes shifting back toward Kiare and Jaren.
"Well darling, if stating the truth will have beautiful ladies showing up around me I believe I will have to become a better man." He chuckles and moves back to fishing in his cargo area a flight suit and a helmet is pulled out. The helmet had the Rebellion's symbol on one side and the word 'Fossil' his call sign, on the other side it was virtually covered with a multitude of TIE shapes, it would be very difficult to say how many confirmed kills were actually on the helmet.
"Great party a couple days ago, shame we couldn't of talked more." He tries to say it to both of them but it's evident who his focus was on.

As the elbow lands into Jaren's side, he smiles a bit and lets out a soft groan, "I am being nice though. If I wasn't it would involve a blaster." He grins a bit as he looks over the Inspector and winks, "At least he's sober." He chuckles remembering the party the other evening and how Tyler disappeared to go swimming after swallowing a few bottles of Corellian Whiskey and the Force only knows what else, "And he did after all not manage to drown, so that has to be something." He smiles a little to make sure that everyone knows he is only teasing the Inspector, "That probably saved him from a fate like Ewan's." He grins at the mention of that, the poor man had his head shaved and face 'painted' after being buried in the sand, but surely worse could have been done to him, "Speaking of, I wonder if Ewan ever got his watch back." He grins even more at the mention of the watch and the young actress's quick retreat when the alarm went off on it.

Kiare grins a faint hint of a blush marking her cheek as she winks at Tyler, "You should have sobered up a little, I was looking for someone to dance with." Of course the girl is impressed by the helmet but doesn't show it, afterall she turned 11 the year of the Battle of Yavin and is only 22 this year.
Stepping forward she offers her hand, "I'm not even sure we were properly introduced as things were a bit crazy that night. My name is Kiare Quinn." Quinn, a name on Corellia known for her father's bar and her brothers antics on and off the tracks with swoop racing.

Tyler chuckles with Jaren after his explanation of the parties events, "Yeah suppose I got a tad carried away, there was a CorSec patrol boat having a party just off shore I had known about that's wear I swam too and drank more." He admits with a shrug, "So it seems I did end up better than some of those guest." He simply shakes his head, "still good times.."
The Corellian turns to Kiare and winks, he was only twenty or so during that during those days, "A pleasure Ms. Quinn, I think I've been to that bar.. and probably have a large tab." He chuckles, "Names Tyler Damion, you can call me Tyler. I'm a retired New Republic Starfighter Pilot CorSec asked me to come back on as an inspector and I agreed with some regrets."

Jaren grins as Tyler describes his adventures after falling off the deck to the house, "Well, at least you made it there safely. I would have hated to see the beach marred by you washing up on it." He smiles a little more as he lightly squeezes his arm around Kiare's waist, "So you're an Inspector for CorSec now. That must be a bit more of a drag that getting to speed about space in an X-Wing, blasting TF's and generally raising a little hell." He grins broadly at the man and smiles offering a hand in greeting, "Sylas, Jaren Sylas. Pleasure to meet ya."

A grin at the recognition of her father's place, "Ah yes. Da does quite well with his fun. A bit rough at times but I suppose that's where all the boys learned to fight. Course we all got swooping on the brain."
Then she's dragged back to Jaren's side and she elbows him a little harder but keeps smiling at Ty. She is gonna beat Jaren if he doesn't stop being so damned possessive that he can't even let her step forward.

The spaceport was a busy place as usual. Within the crowd of patrons, there was an evil that lurked just beneath the surface. A shadow that moved through the spaceport like a haunting phantom, his steps quiet within the breeze, his silouette shadowed as if the light dimmed in his presence. The Dark General moved through the crowd, his destination yet unknown, some men followed shortly behind yet remained unseen like a cameleon of protection. Scaven remained true to his desires and unrest, the torment of an evil mind still lingering at bay.

Tyler nods to the both of them, the Corellian can tell when a man is being possessive he's been alive long enough to know how things work. He removes his holsters on his waist housing a pair of Kylan-3 blasters and tosses them into the cargo area of his ship, and takes out his blue pants with the Corellian blood stripes and pulls them over his CorSec swim trunks.
"Swooping is all fine and good Ms. Quinn, but they are missing out on a much faster and exciting sport." He winks, Tyler is a very flirtatious gentleman. He taps the lower portion of his ship, "Starfighter piloting is faster, and more intense. Take one of these things down a canon at speeds beyond comprehension and you start to realize anything else exists." He smiles and extends a hand, "Would you like to check out the consuls?" he asks with a wink. His hazel eyes shift back to Jaren and then back to Kiare.

Jaren lets out an 'ooph' as Kiare's elbow connects with his ribs, but he doesn't stop smiling towards the man. After a moment he grins a little as he lets his arm fall from Kiare's waist and he begins to look over the star port once more. His eyes casually taking in all the goings-ons as people move about their business in the bussling port. Business is definitely doin well here, even after the big festival the last couple of weeks.

Bias looking around looking for a face he notice when out of the blue he notice someone, and Bias cracks a smiles "HEY THERE SCAVEN!!!!" he shouts as he waves at Scaven trying to get his attention.

Kiare laughs again, "Must be why Cat and Li joined StarOps. A need for more speed, more excitement, and more places to race." Stepping forward again she looks over the fighter and grins, "I would love a look. Liam won't let me inside his, he says it's his 'man place'."

With the current tensions between the New Republic and the Sector, it wasn't neccessarily a good thing that Scaven be noticed or recognized as being here on Corellia. Afterall, he had merely came to arrest Dante, who seems to have disappeared recently. The General's head does not move to greet the man, but his cold black souless eyes do. "Mind your tongue, Mr Morbius..." He glances around briefly to see if anyone noticed the name being called out, "I'm not terrible.......certain, that I'm welcome here."

"An X-wing cockpit is more than a man's place my best wingmen were wingwomen." Tyler smiles and extends his arm, "Come with me please." He requests. Before turning back to the X-wing, "Nate fire her up lets let the young lady get a good tour of this bird.
The droid beeps an affirmative and moves back to the ship a crane as in position and he was raised back into the vessel itself. Without much warning the X-wing comes to life and its monitors begin to gleam from the cockpit with it's canopy up. The engines wine slowly.
Tyler moves forward closing the cargo holds and getting a ladder positioned for her, "Up you go." He says with a smile offering his hand for assistance.

Taking the hand Kiare goes up the ladder to the cockpit. Once there she inspects the monitors, indicators, switches and dials. A grin lights up her features, "I can see the appeal Cathan felt the first time he was in one. Now I know why he and Liam went StarOps."
Her gaze shifts to Tyler, "What's it like to fly?"

Scaven continues to walk through the crowd, nearly knocking a patron down on his way to a ship, which has yet to be identified. He turns his head to the man, "If you value your life, you will watch where you're going.........bachaad!" His eyes flash over red, eriely, before returning to their cold souless black. He wasn't happy that he didn't find his victim here, but perhaps he will yet.

As Jaren is looking over the crowd he notices the dark man's attention being grabbed by someone else and begins to walk over in that direction. Something about the man doesn't seem right, he's not sure what it is, but he definitely doesn't like the look of the man, turning to look over his shoulder as he walks toward the two men, he raises his voice a little towards Kiare, "Get inside that cockpit and stay there. I need to check on something." As he turns his head back to watch where he is going, he reaches down with both hands and unhooks the strap over the butts of his twin IR-5's strapped to his hips. In one smooth motion he pushes his coat aside and flips a switch on the blaster that is strapped to his back under the coat, "Is there some kind of problem here?" He asks as he makes his way over to the man now walking towards a ship.

"Well Miss, I can show you." He says with a Corellian grin, "it'll be cramped but I promise we won't go too far." He turns back to Jaren and smiles and begins climbing up the ladder, "I can teach you how to fly this thing in nothing flat." He swears. His eyes meet an approaching 2400, his accomplice in crime, the bothan was going to have to wait, Tyler had his charm on.
"You see here are our navigation thrusters he says leaning over into the cockpit pointing at displays, shields, engines, and the steering yoke there." He smiles, "Okay scoot over and lets go for a spin, I've doubled up on a couple other occasions. It's tight but fun!" He steps into the cockpit, "Nate prep us for take off and get some clearings!"

Scaven's attentions are quickly drawn to the approaching 'concerned' citizen. Instantly, he recognized the man from a previous........engagement. Although, the recognition probably only goes one way. He looks down, making himself aware of how Jaren is approaching, battleready. Scaven too swings his long black leather overcoat aside, his twin-Kylan's revealed from their holster on his back (think face-off). "This is no concern of yours, Mr NRI"

Inside the cockpit Kiare scoots all the way to the other side, giving as much room as her slim body can to the man who will climb in after her.

Tyler squeezes in and offers a casual smile and pulls the canopy down. It hisses and allows atmosphere to cycle for the flight. His fingers move over the controls rapidly doing preflight checks with his droid beeping and confirming a few things are prepared on other portions of the ship.
The ship lurches as it picks up speed and begins moving away from the crowd with tremendous speed, "The spirits is faster than your stock X-wings I've modified her personal, she'll run up there with the A-wings." He smiles, jerking the ships yoke as the ship goes into a barrel roll off into space. The stars become visible and the ship slows to a cruising speed.
"Okay once around the system then." He lets go of the yoke, "There is an accelerator there it works both ways Ms. Quinn, as a decelerator as well." He smiles, "All yours!"

Kiare grins, "Really?" She looks around and then reaches for the yoke, "I've never flown anything like this before, a bit different than the swoops I'm used to."
Squaring her shoulders Kiare guides the ship carefully toward one of Corellia's sister planets not wanting to go too fast or too far. At the same time she's glad that Ty is here because she really doesn't want to crash into anything.
Growing a little more sure of herself she tries one of those barrel rolls herself.

"Yeah its faster, better armed, and more comfortable!" he chuckles as he reaches over his guest and grabs the accelerator and pushes it to full, "lets get this party started! It won't bite I promise." He smiles and winks as he glances at one of the nearby worlds approaching, "Nate activate my music." The droid whistles and affirmative as something similar to industrial music can be heard from the com system, it would be a famous band from Corellia. The engines of the X-wing burst to life as it begins moving quickly away from the planet.
"I've been flying for years by twisting the yoke to left or right you can get this sucker barrel rolling turning moving the yoke forward back left and right will have it going in directions, forward is down, left is left, right is right, back is up." He explains.

Kiare pulls the yoke back and does a loop and she laughs, "Oooh, this could be fun! I wanted to save up and buy a ship of my own. The Heartbreaker is just on loan to me. Grinning brighter she pushes the fighter to sweep an arc past the planet and head for the next one, "This is great!"

The Corellian pilot nods and keys over a few things on the consul. He casually pushes the accelerator forward to its maximum speed the shock cushion becomes both the occupants' friend as the ship begins to accelerate to speeds beyond what was imaginable for X-wings just off the assembly line. The stars begin to blur a bit and celestial objects began getting closer a lot faster. Tyler smiles and lets out a 'Woooohooo'.
"Now you're getting the hang of speed." He looks over the scanners and nods, "Swoops could only dream of speeds like this, this boat can go over 1000 kilometers an hour in atmosphere, I mean well over, around 1300 I think." He chuckles, "I've been thinking about ordering an A-wing if I can cut through the black tape." He admits, "you can never go too fast." He says winking, "We can head back at your digression."

Kiare whoops softly and laughs loving the speed of the little fighter. Daring little minx tries things that she's heard her brothers talking about doing with their fighters, the dropping barrel rolls the loops, everything she can think of. If there were more room she'd probably be bouncing with excitement. As it is she just squirms around a little.

The X-wing's thrusters push the Ship out of the Corellian system on the edges of what was now empty space. The ship was fast, taking a trip a capital ship would need a few days for in a matter of moments. Tyler moves his hand over Kiare's and jerks the ship into a high rise until it does a loop over and is upside down from their previous motion and flying back toward Corellia, "Now this is what I call fun." He chuckles releasing his hand from the yoke, "lesson two is landing." He says, "There is the landing gear struts." He says pointing to a lever, "Nate get us cleared." He says as the music stops, the droid whistles in compliance.
"That, Ms. Quinn, is riding in style." He says the cockpit itself was getting warm as it was no where near being designed for two bodies. The Corellian wipes a bit of sweat fro his forehead as Corellia looms closer in the front displays.

Still grinning Kiare slows the ship as Corellia looms larger and reduces to a speed she's used to as she comes within the gravity well of the planet. "This was so much fun. But are they usually this hot?" Or maybe it's just her that's causing all the heat, she's not sure.
Biting her lower lip she dips the fighter into the atmosphere headed for the spaceport. Once she's sure they've got clearance and where to land she attempts to do so carefully, this isn't the size ship she's used to, the Heartbreaker is much bigger.

Tyler smiles at the question, "Only when beautiful people get on board the systems heat up like this, the boat knows when it's got gems onboard, the scientist would say it's the fact its built for one and life support isn't designed to handle it, but what do they know?" he perks a brow and offers a faint chuckle.
He moves his arm casually area Kiare to point out to the planet and to let it get blood circulation back, "We have been cleared for landing in Coronet in my usual spot. Nate can take us down once you get over the starport, he knows the spot." He says, "I hope you enjoyed your flight in Tyler Spaceways." He says jokingly, "Take us in Captain."

Kiare leans in to kiss your cheek when the fighter lands, "This was a lot of fun. Maybe you're right about why it got so hot in here, but we won't tell the scientists that they're wrong. It will be our secret."

The Corellian blushes two shades of red as the ship lands with a thud, "Well madam, I'm sure as pilots and being related to more pilots we'd know better, but mostly from experience." Tyler's hazel eyes glimmer with humor as the ship begins to go through a cool down session. It's engines whining to a halt. The droid whistles a few things, "Well that concludes our ride for today, but I'm sure I can arrange another if you'd like maybe sometime this week." He smiles and opens the canopy as fresh Corellian air fills the cockpit.

Taking a deep breath of Corellia she smiles at the pilot, "That would be quite fun and most welcome. Though maybe next time I'll wear pants of some kind." She grins, "Maybe my vacsuit." The green racing jumper, if anyone has seen her in it around the spaceport or the track, is skin tight and leaves little to the imagination about her shape.

Tyler objects, "It's much to warm for those sort of things madam.." he says with a wink, "bikinis and swim wear are recommended when doubling up in an X-wing." He chuckles and fastens the ladder to the side of the ship and stands up in the seat and offers a hand, "After you." He says with a smile.

Taking the hand Kiare rises and climbs out onto the ladder, "Well, maybe I'll wear my shorts." She winks, "Just as easy to get out of as a bikini and just as light, but more fabric keeps the men from trying to steal me away from your piloting lessons."

"I can fight them off with a stick or sword I got around here somewhere." Tyler says with a chuckle seeing the lady out of the X-wing before starting his own decent down the ladder, "We'll have a more in depth lesson perhaps in a few days, and I can introduce you to Kothlen, my annoying side kick." He says with a wink.

Scaven now knew where the man was, and was a little more prepared for the shot. He dodges to the side in anticipation, then jumps up and begins running toward the man to close the distance. All the while, he squeezes off another shot. This wouldn't last very long since it wouldn't take CorSec long to get here. But, it's only been a few seconds since the first shot, so they may take a while longer.

Kiare is laughing as she descends the ladder from the fighter, "More lesson would be great!" But then she hears the blaster shot and she ducks a bit to shelter behind the next ship over, "What are these idiots doing?"

With some effort Dain alerted one of the standing CorSec officers nearby to the situation. The officer nods in knowning and had already been on the coms with the other officers. CorSec had been alerted and Dain took the time to quietly slip out of the spaceport. As far from blaster fire as he could get...

The Corellian steps out of the ship laughing with the young lady that moved out before him. Blaster fire alerts Tyler as he slides down the ladder and positions himself in front of Kiare doubling her cover. He reaching into his coat and draws a Kylan heavy blaster and takes a badge out hanging it on his coat.
He turns and smiles to Kiare, "Stay here!" he says standing up and moving to investigate the situation. He moves toward the blaster fire his weapon draw, "Corellian Security Force, Drop your weapons!" Tyler belts out, always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

A small pool of blood begins to form around Jaren's head from where the side of his face hit the permacrete on his way down. The wound in his shoulder still smoking. Several moments pass with him in complete darkness, the silence so strong in his ears that it is roaring inside his head. Slowly the sounds of other blasters firing reach him in his senseless state. Though all he can manage is a blurry image to form as he manages to force his eyes open. A moan escapes his lips, though the effort of trying to open his eyes causes him fade back into blackness, fighting to cling to some semblance of consciousness, even knowing he isn't going to be able to do anything but lie and watch.

Kothlen HAD to protect Jaren. Thats the only thought all that old training would let him think. Protect Jaren. The next shot came, and Kothlen's cape was off, allowing him to tumble out of the shot, coming down on his knee, he snaps off a shot with one hand. Even as tyler is bellering.

Kiare crouches down watching the events unfold and then seeing Jaren. She draws the blaster she had on her but she's more worried about getting to Jaren, less about the blaster bolt that passes over her head. She peers out again and frowns dang it! She was having such a good time too!

The General hears the warning from the officer, and quickly puts his hands up. Just then, another shot from his assailant flies by his head. Oh, hell no! He's not gonna surrender while there's blasterfire flying by his head. He quickly lowers his Kylan and fires another shot at his attacker before putting his hands back up toward the CorSec officer.

Defend Jaren. Defend Jaren. Even as the bolt scars over his shoulder, the only thought he can get out is to defend the Goverment Man. Rolling with the shot again, He snaps off one shot... and seconds later, the blaster is on the ground, simaltanious as the Dark man surrenders. Kothlen lays down the blaster and raises his hands...

Kiare peers out from behind the cover of the small ship again and frowns, got to get to Jaren.. That's all she's worried about as she darts out crouched low and heading for Jaren!

Tyler moves forward his weapon held out in front of him as he notes Scaven firing but then surrendering, "Put the weapon on the ground and kick it toward me now!" he orders his heavy blaster pointed directly at the man in question, "That goes for you too." One of his hands leaves the blaster and points directly at Kothlen as he shoots his blaster once again just before the order..
The sound of sirens begin emanating from the west as reinforcements begin pulling up droves. The Coronet police department, begin unloading as Tyler moves over toward Jaren his eyes looking down at him. His free hand picks up a comlink and he speaks into it, "This is Inspector Damion, I need a medvac team at the starport." He looks down at Jaren, "Victom looks stable." He says leaning down and checking his pulse.

Scaven smiles, a small drop of blood tracing down his cheek as he looks over to the officer in question. He drops his Kylan to the cold concrete, but in raising his hands, his overcoat opens to reveal a much harsher arsenal of dangerous weapons, including his Horansi blood-stained sword. "As you wish, officer" he replies with a cynical smile, turning his head to spit in the general direction of Jaren.

Crouching down beside Jaren she pulls out the medkit from the carrysac she left with him. Please please please.. "Jaren, please.." unpacking the medkit Kiare applies a wad of gauze to the head wound.

Kothlen keeps his hands on his head, as he stands full well up, kicking his blaster over to Tyler. He'll have plenty of time to explain what just happened at the station. Damn his arm hurts alot.

Jaren finally manages to pull himself from the depths of unconsciousness and is barely able to make his eye focus as they slowly drift open. When he can see clear enough to recognize the person over top of him. Weakly, he manages a slight smile as he tries to say something, though speaking is well out of his reach at this point and all that comes out of his lips is a soft moan, then his eyes close once more as the fight to keep them open is too great at the moment, though his lips manage to form the words that look like it might be, 'Did I win?' and then he goes slack as he loses consciousness once more.

Six Coronet police officers armed with assault rifles move forward toward Scaven and Kothlen. Tyler moves away Jaren as Kiare sees to him his blaster raised, "Please remove your coat sir." He says toward Scaven. The officers begin backing him up, "And send it my direction." He turns back to Kothlen and shakes his head, "Both you lay on the ground face first hands behind your back." He orders, "Move slowly!" he adds stepping forward toward Scaven with a pair of stun cuffs being presented in the inspector's free hand. Medical teams begin arriving on the scene shortly after and begin seeing to wounded individuals.

Kiare curses softly and tries a painkiller and begins on the blaster wound as the medical team arrives. At least she got the head wound stopped and he was awake for a moment. She shares the information with the medtechs that come to assist and then steps back still worrying over Jaren.

Kothlen carefully lays down on the ground. Just like last time he was on Tatooine, with that shoot out (he didn't start, but sure the hell finished)... again, he's about to be cuffed and hauled off to deus-knows where, where he'll be grilled like a nerf steak by his Handler. If she showed up... she might just leave him to rot this time...

The General smiles toward the approaching officer, "I'm afraid that if I go to remove my coat, you'll fire. I'm sure you would rather do it for me." He gives the officer a slight wink, thinking to himself that he must be green if he's asking the suspect to remove his own coat. Besides, with the IR-5's on his hips, and another Kylan still strapped on his back, along with his sword, he was still dangerous. There was no way he was about to make a move for his overcoat.

Two members of Coronet's finest begin removing Scaven's arsenal, there would be a long talk with Corellian customs after this. After what seems several minutes they manage to pull his weaponry away from him and move it to the nearby ground and begin cataloging it all including bagging up his warmer weapons.
Tyler reads Kothlen and Scaven their rights and cuffs them. He turns to one of the officers, "See these two men to the station for questioning." He points at Jaren, "He's under arrest too until we can get to the bottom of this. Place to guards on his room at the hospital he'll be needed for questioning." He states clearly seeing things dispersing. He moves into his role as an inspector and begins examining the crime scene for anything interesting.

As the medics begin to administer aide to Jaren's unconscious form, with a mighty effort on his part and the assistance of the painkillers Kiare had administered, he manages to force himself fully conscious as the world crashes in on him. He winces a bit at the intense pain in his shoulder, but manages to lift his head slightly to see what is going on now that the blasters have stopped firing. And watches the men moving about tending to their various jobs, a slight smile on his face for Kiare as he finally manages to find her face in the sea of people on the tarmac.

Kiare stands there a bit stunned arms crossed over her torso as if hugging herself and looking around feeling a bit lost. Things were okay when she left and the next thing she knows there's a blaster battle and she's in the middle.

A pair of cruisers move in these now marked with the CorSec logos rather than the standard Coronet police department. Tyler moves into one of these speeders and mutters holstering his blaster, "Looks like I have to go change clothes." he says with a sigh. The speeder zooms off toward his office, and questioning will be beginning.

Wincing a bit as Jaren tries to sit up, he realizes he was putting weight onto his freshly wounded arm and uses the other to push himself into a sitting position. He looks over to Kiare hugging herself and forces a smile onto his face, which is quickly turned into a grimace as the medics tend to the blaster wound. Though shaking his head, he clears the cobwebs in his head and smiles at her once her. The pain plainly visible behind his bright gray eyes, and on his face, though he does his best to supress it as much as possible, for her benefit if nothing else.

Shaking her head Kiare turns and heads for the Heartbreaker. Stopping at the ramp she looks back and Jaren and sighs. The medics seem to have him taken care of and are going to be bundling him off to the hospital momentarily. She's got to get this all down while she remembers it but more than that she has to get control.

Jaren watches Kiare move over towards the Heartbreaker just as the medics help him up to get him into the back of the ambulance. As the doors close, he whispers her name, knowing she wont hear it, but hoping she'll at least see it. Then the ambulance if off and heading towards the hospital to take care of his wounds. He grins at the prospect of dealing with CorSec again, they were always such charming folk. He chuckles at his own joke and winces again as the ambulance moves out of sight.

Kiare's gaze drops from the departing ambulance and finally she lets the tears fall. Slow and soundless she lets the fear and hurt slip out of her. Squared shoulders slump and she leans against the ship because it's the only support she's going to get.
