Coming down the ramp of the Heartbreaker Kiare looks for Jaren. She got the message to meet him and where to do so, but she has no idea why or what for so she's a bit curious. She had been getting ready to run the swoop again so she's probably a few minutes later than he expected as she had to load the swoop onto the ship and all.

Standing, or rather slouching against the far wall of the station's remarkably empty public hanger is Malaki, helmet at long last removed to reveal a tanned skinned young man with sandy blonde hair brushed to one side. A light sheen of sweat across his face is complemented by a cocky smile. In one hand he twirls a Kylan upon his trigger finger, catching it occassionaly by the butt ready to fire.

Jaren makes his way out of the docking tube from the Caspian Queen. In his left hand he is bouncing the small ID Chip up and down as he walks into the hangar. After a moment he notes the two people he had asked to meet him here and nods his head to them, "Thank you both for coming." He inticates the ship with his free hand and walks up to the boarding ramp, "Shall we move to a more private location for this conversation?"

Public Hangar Bay -- CEC Space Station

You find yourself located in the very large and equally clean
Hangar Bay of the CEC Space Station. Around the entire deck there are
ships of various shapes and sizes, many of them placed on display to
show the products of this station. The walls, floors, and ceiling is
made up of black durasteel that contrasts nicely with the ships on
 display.
Nearly the entire fore wall is made up of a force field meant
to keep the vacuum of space out and the atmosphere of the station in,
still allowing ships to go in and out without disturbing this balance.
To the aft there is a large escalator leading up to the Main Corridor.
If not for the movement of a couple of guards to the port, near a small
blast door, the chances of noticing this door would be slim due to the
placement of the ships near the door. To the starboard there is a small
door that leads into the airlock corridor and a small ways off from
the airlock is sectioned off lobby area. The lobby area is behind a
wall of clear plexi-glass so that customers may sit and relax as they
watch their ships being worked on. Inside of the lobby area are two
comfortable looking sofa's with a holoterminal nearby should they need
 to make a call.
A large sign is plastered upon a wall, clearly seen by anyone
within the Hangar bay which reads:

No Weapons are allowed on the station except by station security.
No loitering in the main hangar bay is allowed.
No unauthorized people may pass into the main corridor without
		prior approval by Shannon Arands.
Use of CEC's Hangar bay is for CEC business only,
unless otherwise authorized by Shannon Arands.

Malaki lifts up one foot and putting it against the wall, pushes forward, quickly extending to take the thrust of the step but never interrupting his blaster twirling as he swiftly follows the Acting Director.

Stepping forward Kiare smooths her hand down the line of the dress and smiles at the stranger indicated by Jaren. Her attention then turns to Jaren and she nods, "Of course." Walking becomes quite interesting in the outfit she wears, each step sets the skirt to swishing about her legs revealing a bit more thigh than standing does, and the sway of hip seems slightly more with the feminine attire.

Jaren nods his head as he enters the code into the pad next to the boarding ramp. After a moment the ramp lowers accompanied by a soft wurring noise and a metalic thunk as it hits the ground. Extending a hand, he offers for the other two to enter the ship before him. At the same time his datapad beeps and he pulls it out to look at it. After a moment he picks up his comlink and clicks it on, "Please tell the gentleman to come to CEC Station and meet me inside my ship. We will be waiting for him."

Kiare enters in a code and enters STARSHIP: Corellian YT-1300 -- Callandor

Aft - Callandor

Located at the rear end of the ship, next to the drive system
matrix that propels the ship, this is the main cargohold on the YT-1300.
Intended for cargo alone, the walls are reinforced grey plastisteel
panels with solid black tiles covering the floor. The wall opposite to
the exit to the main ring, 8 meters across the room, is slightly rounded.
The hold is 15 meters wide with hardly any service hatches or markings.
The ceiling is 5 meters high, lined with shielded worklights.
Near the entrance, set into the wall, is the cargo computer.

Malaki has arrived.

Jaren has arrived.

Boarding the ship Kiare settles onto one of the seats Jaren always has available and crosses one knee over the other smoothing her skirt into place over her legs. "Does someone care to tell me what this might be about, or will I find out once it has started?" She's smiling at both men but her gaze returns to the stranger once she's finished speaking, studying him just a bit.

Stepping in after the rather attractive woman, Malaki looks around the YT-1300 and sighs, shaking his head. "Havn't been in one of these for almost ten years..but we're not here to discuss your ship. Firstly id like to ask when the hell im going to get paid because I havn't had a single cred from you guys in the way of retainer in two months."

Jaren walks into the ship and eyes the man for a moment, "As for that, I can't tell you. That was Aknar's business and until I saw your ID, I didn't even know you were working for us. However, once I check through our paper trails, I will forward you what is owed. Rest assured." As he mentions the ID Chip. He bounces it off his hand a couple more times then extends it towards the hunter, "I think you might like this back. As I am sure you may require it in the future. Now back to this disc, I have a rough idea what is on it. Though I didn't wish for the Horansi to know this. Aside from the fact that it apparently holds details of a weapons testing, I know little to nothing about it. Who exactly does it belong to?"
He looks over to Kiare for a moment and smiles to her, "A quick catch up on what you have been called into. I was contacted by Acting Security Chief Jacen Charles from FLS about an ID Chip." He motions to the other man, "His ID Chip. He had been tracking down a bounty on a disc that a Horansi had lifted from a man she claims attacked the Vice President of Caspar. So when this man here tried to retrieve it, she wanted confirmation he worked with NRI. And that is where we are at." He smiles a little, "And before I forget introductions are in order." Indicating the man, "This is Hunter Malaki." Offering the title he had acquired from the earlier scan of the ID Chip, then turns and indicates Kiare, "And this is Field Agent Kiare Quinn."

Rising from her seat Kiare smiles to the man when he's been introduced to her, "A pleasure, Hunter." A slow smile shapes her lips setting those brown eyes to sparkling with mischief and then her attention turns to Jaren, "One from the beach, or a different one?"

Malaki takes the ID chip back and nods in thanks before he slips it into his belt-pouch, clipping it closed. Stepping forward the young man extends his hand to Kiare in offering of a handshake. "Nice to meet you. In reference to whats on that disc. From what ive learnt its the stolen encrypted data from a very current weapons test. It was originaly in the hands of my current employer Dol, where he obtained it from I have no idea and he isn't saying. Just the other day infact he was on the beach when that overgrown fuzzball lept out at him and ripped his arm off when he drew a blaster. I had a friend put out a bounty to ensure any violence nessercery in retreiving the disc would be perfectly legal, I don't like CorSec cells. Unfortunately things when pear-shaped when some intefearing little NR pilot wench demanded to see ID."

Jaren smiles at Kiare and shakes his head, "No, this is something else entirely. Remember that ruckuss outside the house yesterday? Well that is what this is about apparently." He turns towards the small holochess table and extends a hand, "Care for a seat and something to drink? I have a small stock of Corellian brands if you would like." He smiles again as he nods to the man's words, "From what I understand of what you are telling me, and what Shara told me about, which doesn't smell right to me at all, I don't think things went down quite as they insist it did. Though given the current state of Caspar-New Republic affairs, I'm forced to on the appearance make it look like I am looking out for their best interest. So, I have asked Dol to come visit us up here. That is the message I had gotten just before we boarded the ship. So, we may have some solutions reach shortly." He smiles again as he takes a seat at the holochess table and tucks his hands behind his head as he leans back in it.

Taking the hand Kiare shakes it and winks at the bounty hunter. Upon finding out more details she shakes her head slowly, "I knew there was a reason I was glad we stayed in until we headed for the track. Frog up everything quiet neatly, some do." She smiles again at Malaki before her attention returns to Jaren with a smile, "Brandy for you?" The question is asked as she walks over to serve herself a cold bottle of Cor-ale. Then her gaze turns to Malaki again waiting to find out what he might want.

Malaki smiles back at Kiare and reluctantly releases her hand as she moves off. "A brandy for me if you please." turning his attention back to Jaren he nods, one hand moving to his chin and stroking it whilst he moves towards the holochess table, taking a seat. "Well, she's lying about leaping out at Dol on the beach. I spoke at length with the man and even missing his forarm he was level headed, certainly not the madman she describes. Although I begin to believe that she wanted me to get that disc back. Perhaps they've tampered with it somehow."

Returning with the asked for Brandy for the two men she passes off Jaren's first and then takes her drink and stands near Malaki even after passing him his. Assuming a relaxed posture beside the bounty hunter she balances her weight over one foot, the other canted at the knee, tip of her boottoe on the floor. A wink is cast to Malaki then her attention shifts to the situation at hand even if her gaze remains on the man beside her.

Jaren nods his head for a moment as he takes his glass and smiles his thanks to Kiare for it, "Well I think they have either tampered with it, looked more deeply than she admitted to, or has made a copy of it. Though I am not entirely sure what is they may have done. I'm not buying what she told me. And her readiness to give the disc back, make me believe they have a copy of it. Whether or not they have decrypted it yet is another story though."

Malaki smiles up and takes the glass. "Thank you" he sips the brandy and examines the liquid with a satisified smile. "Good brandy... They must have made a copy, they'd be fools not to have done so and right now chances are they're trying to decrypt it. They've had a twentyfour hour headstart. Now Dol mentioned about selling this disc to the highest bidder so if we need to discover what it is theyve got before they do; informing him of its rapidly decreasing value and buying it from him may be the best option."

[HOLO] --> The random static of a transmission pipes through hyperspace, its destination, a holoterminal in the Corellian Sector ... its recipient, perhaps not known. On the transmitting end, the swarthy Corellian man, Dol Marcis, beams his image toward those who would be his saviours ... or his death. The holo-panel blinks furiously, alerting those present that there is ... in fact ... a most sought-after call incoming ...

Jaren turns his attention towards one of the New Republic Special Operations Commandos as he comes back from the cockpit of the Callandor, "Sir, there is a message coming through on the holo-term. It's flashing urgent on the boards." Nodding his head Jaren looks towards those who are gathered in the cargo hold of the ship, "Bring the portable terminal in here and place it on the table please." As he turns away from the man and waits for him to return he smiles to the other two, "Perhaps we wont have to wait to long to find out." He grins a little as the man returns and places the unit on the table between them. Reaching out, Jaren presses a few commands to secure the line and answer the incoming transmission, "This is Acting Director Jaren Sylas, please identify."

[HOLO] --> The less-than-precise image of the stocky man, Dol Marcis, appears, somewhat worse for wear, on the holo. A stubby med-piece caps the stump of an arm that he recently had been privy of wearing. The stocky man's voice breaks through. "Acting Director Jaren Sylas ... this is Captain Dol Marcis, esquire. I am sure that you and yours have been looking forward to hearing from me. Unless I am mistaken."

[HOLO] --> Kiare moves around the table where the portable unit has been placed and she draws up a seat settling down into it and crossing her legs at the knees, left over right. A smoothing of her skirt as she watches Jaren answer and then she looks to the other man and smiles once more.

[HOLO] --> Jaren watches the image appear and nods his head after the man identifies himself, "Yes, indeed we have been eagerly awaiting to hear from you. I recently have come into possession of a disc that I have been told belongs to you. I would also like to note that I believe the people who had taken it from your person may have tampered with it, or made a copy for themselves. In which case any important data that may be on it. Could now be in another's hands. However, these same people claim that you attacked them. Which is one of the reasons I was looking to hear from you."

[HOLO] --> The image wavers, its transmission less than perfect, but nonetheless the chagrin of the stocky man can be plainly seen. He pauses for some moments, dumbfounded. At last, he lifts the stump of his right arm, profering it for all to witness. "They claim that *I* attacked them? Most asinine. Not only did they rob *me* of that datadisk ... but they also took *this* from me (more motions of stump) ... and tried to take my life." The stocky man paces now ... the holotransmitter following hiim shakily as he moves. "You have the disk? That is ... the *original*?" He turns to face the transmitter, as if looking at the beings on the other side.

[HOLO] --> A face is made at the waving stump. Seems to Kiare that no amount of 'possible danger' to anyone would warrent the removal of an arm willy-nilly with the excuse of 'defense'. There were far far less ghastly methods of dealing with threats, both real and possible.

[HOLO] --> Nodding towards the transmitter, Jaren smiles once more, "I do believe that it is the original. They claimed that they wanted to return it to you, as they thought the medics might try to 'steal' it from you. Would they have had any reason to know that you had this disc on your person at the time? Because if they did, I would definitely start to believe that they attacked you, so that they could make it seem you attacked the VP, giving them a reason to covertly secure the disc from your person."

[HOLO] --> The stocky man, Dol, thinks ... back to the day ... the day he was robbed ... and maimed. He begins to speak, with some trepidition. "Honestly, Director Sylas ... anyone in plain view of me ... like those who attacked me ... would have plainly seen that I had the disk. I was about to toss it into the sea, and changed my mind. In fact, the assailant ... she who gave me this (stump waves) ... *clearly* saw me place it into my coat. She left me ... spoke to someone upbeach ... soem diplomat ... and returned to accost me."

[HOLO] --> Now taking his turn to speak, Malaki leans forward and into closer view, brandy in hand. "As far as I could tell it was indeed the original, if they have made copies giving us anything but would be too risky a game to be played in this kind of political climate. Based upon the fact that she confered it would seem neive to assume she was the end of the line. Do you recall any details of the diplomat Mr Marcis?"

[HOLO] --> Thinking for a moment, Jaren raises a hand to gently stroke his chin and thinks for a couple of moments, "You wouldn't be able to tell me what was on the disc, or who you got it from would you? I ask because, depending on where it came from, could determine our next course of action in the matter."

[HOLO] --> Sitting back Kiare starts to think that the origin of the disc and possible contents in combination with the identity of the diplomat in question could lead down interesting and complicated roads given current political situations.

[HOLO] --> Dol's holo image ... clearly ... regards Malaki with some suspicion ... no more though, than any in the receiving room. He answers, in short. "I would say this. Whoever that dipolomat was ... she was sporting a horansi woman. A horansi woman who twice accosted me, and injured me, badly." The stocky man paces once again, his head shaking. He looks back into the transceiver. "You mean ... your crack slicers haven't gotten past 'pong?' I am disappointed." Dol chuckles a bit. "*I* myself made the disk. Only hours before it was taken. As for what's on it. It would be interesting to me to see if you've been given a fake or not, no?" The stocky man grins ear to ear like a Corellian alley cat.

[HOLO] --> Sitting forward Kiare speaks, "So you want us to see what's on it and then you tell us if we're right?" She frowns a little not caring for the Horansi woman but keeping that little tidbit to herself. After all she's supposed to be on the investigative team, right.

[HOLO] --> Jaren nods towards the image on the screen, "I only just obtained this disc a couple of hours ago. We haven't looked at it yet, and have kept it in a secured lockbox on this very ship. Guarded by four New Republic Special Operations Commandos. I felt for the time being it was safer there until we could determine what was the nature of this disc, with Hunter Malaki here, and then yourself once I was able to get a message out to you."

[HOLO] --> The stocky man, Dol, scowls at the transceiver ... but then forces himself to soften. "That's the catch, isn't it then?" he says. "There's nothing in this but a *dead end* for Captain Marcis. Fye the moment that disk was ever recorded!" He spits. "There is information on it that would like as not be of great interest to the New Republic, yes. But just how willing is the New Republic to destroy the lives of the common gentry in order to get it, is what I wonder. You'll crack the disk in time. And either it's accurate, or not. It's all the same to the likes of me. You have it now. I have me. And that's fair enough in my book."

[HOLO] --> Jaren nods his head, "I'm sure they would. If you wold like I could insert the disc into the transmitter and you could verify for yourself if it is the original or not. And verify if it has been tampered with or not." He smiles into the recorder, "However, if it is something of value to the New Republic, and depending on the information, some might even consider you a hero for making that information available to the government. Probably would even come with some kind of reward and a metal or two." He shrugs a little, "That is of course if it really is weapons testing information. And something that will be used against the New Republic. Kind of like all those Bothans who got the plans for the original Death Star."

[HOLO] --> Taking a sip of the brandy, Malaki nods in agreement "If you do take this course of action I would recommend checking the disc's contense on an isolated console. If it has been tampered with I don't need to highlight the dangers of allowing it access to any kind of networked system."

[HOLO] --> The swarthy Corellian, Dol, laughs at the notion. When he calms, he pats his worn green trenchcoat with the stump of his arm. "There's naught but no room here for that kind of meaningless decadence. Hero! Ha! Not likely." Dol laughs for another moment. "I came there to sell the disk, and then thought the better of it. Or not. I don't know. But you have it now. And I am in a position to verify whether or not it's accurate. And *you're* in a position not to trust those that may have tampered with it. Those same who attacked me and stole it. And I've got to continue to watch my back. I can't trust you, nor them. I believe that we are coming to an end of this transmission." The stocky man smirks. "Some kind of hero!"

[HOLO] --> Jaren smirks broadly into the holo projector, "What if I told you I could arrange for your 'death' and a new identity while we work on the investigation of what the Caspian government may or may not have at this point." He grins a little knowing the first try may not work and begins with his second approach, "I recently came into the very means for the first part of the process. And the second, well I arrange for new identities all the time. It's part of my job. Then once we have dealt with Caspar and the disc, you can either reappear as your old self once more, or remain under the new identity we could create for you." He leans in towards the projector a little more and raises an eyebrow at the man on the other end.

[HOLO] --> Malaki nods into the projector. "Acting Director Jaren has a point Dol, this has become alot more sinister than I had first assumed and one attempt was already made on your life to obtain this disk. If my suspicions are confirmed then further attempts will follow. This plan could provide safe haven until whoever is behind this can be revealed."

[HOLO] --> There is a long ... long pause, and the tension, even transmitted over light years, is thick enough to be cut and spread with a knife. Dol sighs, a deep, powerful, forceful exhalation of air, and there is fire in his glarring stare. "So. I die for the New Republic anyway. No matter. Either real ... or fixed. I lose not only my arm, but everything. Do you think I have no vested interests of my own ... interests I can not simply walk away from like that? It's ... preposterous." The swarthy Corellian's fuming glare comes to rest on Malaki. "Isn't it?" he adds. Dol paces for a long moment, and ... back to the transceiver, he speaks. "Make the arrangements. I shall arrive by public transport."

[HOLO] --> Kiare rises to pace having gone silent when she went unnoticed amid the all male conversation. At the mention of public transport she speaks up, "I can come and get you. Public transport can be risky if they're really looking for you."

[HOLO] --> Jaren nods his head, "Though at least with a fixed death, you can rise from the dead and return to whatever those interests are. And if you wish I can assign someone to look after them for you until you are able to 'rise from the ashes' so to speak." As Kiare stands up and begins to move about he turns to watch her for a moment, smiling in her direction. After a moment he stands and moves over to her to lightly lay his arm across her shoulders and turning back to the projector, "That is probably a better solution. With all that has been happening with the public transports of late, I wouldn't be surprised if they were watching them for you. Or perhaps we could all come to pick you up. The choice is yours however."

[HOLO] --> Dol turns back now toward the transceiver. Even under the shaky circumstances of transmission, it is evident that the stocky man has been shedding a tear or two. "I am at coordinates (blah blah blah Nar Shaddaa). I would *greatly* appreciate your arrival ... all of you ... including Malaki ... promptly. I fear that even here my cover shall not last too much longer. With that, the stocky man reaches out and abruptly ends the transmission. No more small talk. The dice have been thrown.

Malaki finishes his brandy as the holo-image disappears. "Shara made a big noise about how much she hates the New Republic, that coupled with the source I suspect this recording came from and Dol's own incinuations I suspect she is at very least an imperial sympathises. On Caspar they're hardly few in number."

Jaren nods his head as he leans back to think for a moment, "That is true. I over heard her the other night saying that the NR was scum. I'm starting to think that the VP feels the same way as she does. So when I go to my meeting with them, that should pose to be very interesting. For all I know. I could be walking right into a trap myself." He smiles for a moment, "In any case, he would like all of us to go pick him up on Nar Shaddaa, I suggest we move over to the Diamante, we have a medical crew on board that can fix up his arm temporarily, and then once they are sure there is no infection, can replace it. Shall we go?"

Kiare departs the ship.

Malaki emerges from the Corellian YT-1300 -- Callandor.

STARSHIP: Corellian YT-1300 -- Callandor engages its engines and takes off.

Kiare enters in a code and enters STARSHIP: Corellian YT-1300 -- Heartbreaker

Aft - Heartbreaker
The entrance to the cargo bay is just off the circular ring
passageway. The cargo bay is modular in design, allowing cargo pods
to be stacked tighter together without loss of space. The walls, made
of a strong metallic compound, have securing bars spaced equally
across it's span to help keep the cargo safe and secure during
transport. A small booth area off to the side with a small table
before it gives passengers a place to sit and relax during the flight.

You leave Aft - Heartbreaker and enter Cockpit - Heartbreaker.

Cockpit - Heartbreaker
This capsule like cockpit has barely enough room to allow four
people to sit comfortably with in it. Surrounded by panels of switches
and lights, the pilots are able to guide this ship through most any
situation. The forward of the cockpit is open up to viewing the stars
through the glass shielding for which the pilot gains his unique
 perspective of where he's going.

Malaki enters from Aft - Heartbreaker.

<CONSOLE> Kiare takes the con.

<OOC: Kiare's stats will be used for Piloting Purposes.>

Settling into her seat and strapping in Kiare takes the con and winks at you, "So how long have you been a bounty hunter?" She grins as she prepares the ship for liftoff.

Malaki steps forward into the cockpit and grins at the surroundings, long has it been since he's sat in a YT-1300 but its hauting familiar, sitting himself down in the seat aside from you he flashes a smile. "Counting from the first time I brought in a bounty...four years. If from the time Bobba gave me my first lesson in trapping almost ten. Although ive done a fair few other things in between that." A sharp click can be heard as the durasteel buckle holding his gloves on releases and he slides them off. "What about you? How long have you been a "Field Agent"?"

Kiare grins "Jaren hired me a week ago. I'm really a swooper, but it makes a great cover and all six of my brothers joined up for one thing or another." She pilots the ship up out of the gravwell to make the jump to the Dia. "I can't wait until I can afford a ship of my own."

Laughing she points out the Diamante, "THere she is." Considering the question Kiare pilots around to the hangar, "I'm not sure. I think I'll start out with something like this. But one of my own not a junker that the NRI lends me."

Kiare landed the ship successfully.

<NAVIGATION> Ship landed successfully.

Landing the ship Kiare disengages the drive and then unbelts to look over at you, "Well, we're here. Jaren's probably wondering what took so long, he thinks I race everywhere at top speed." A laugh bubbles forth and she winks, "Someday he'll learn."

Looking out at the Diamante, Malaki nods. "Nice ship, little bit big for my tastes...if I was ever going to buy my own it'd be a true hunter's ship. Fast, big guns and damned stylish." he grins broadly and jumps up. "As much as id like to keep him waiting a while longer I doubt that'd please him greatly. After you..."

Kiare rises from her seat, "Oh.. I keep him waiting all the time. It makes life more fun. He's so cute when he's frustrated." Laughing again she heads out of the cockpit into the aft compartment.

Kiare leaves Cockpit - Heartbreaker and enter Aft - Heartbreaker.

Malaki enters from Cockpit - Heartbreaker.

Malaki laughs at your admission as we step into the aft of the ship. "Seems you enjoy your work." His grin conceals (albeit not amazingly) a natural curiosity "What's the deal with you two anyway?"

She shrugs, "He's cute, he's sweet, he wants to be my boyfriend, he wants to marry me. I'm not sure I'm ready to get married yet. I'm not even sure he's the one for me. So I'm keeping an eye on all the possiblities." Kiare punches in the code for the ramp and it lowers, "Time will tell I suppose. But I think I'm a bit more of a flirt and a free spirit than he bargained for. What can I say.. I'm Corellian."

Malaki laughs heartily and nods. "Well, personaly I've only known one type of woman. The strong willed type who do as they please and to hell with everyone else. Can't say its not attractive." replacing his gloves, Malaki smirks and tucks his helmet under his arm. "You planning to humor his interest?"

Laughing Kiare winks, "I encourage every man's interest, and I do humor his from time to time. Not as oft as he'd like but as I said, he's adorable when he's frustrated." She heads down the ramp, looking back she says, "But you're not bad, not bad at all."

Kiare departs the ship.

Hanger -- Diamante
Much of the midship chassis of the corvette has been converted
to a shuttle bay. Blastdoors lead aft towards the airlock corridor and
engineering section and a corridor leads forward towards the quarters
area and the bridge. A dozen techs dressed in worn deck gear and
jumpsuits are here, with just as many droids of various types.

The ship is currently at green alert status.

Malaki emerges from the Corellian YT-1300 -- Heartbreaker.

Type TL to request a turbolift, then type TL again to enter it.

Jaren enters a code at the entry ramp of the STARSHIP: Corellian YT-1300 -- Callandor and the door opens.

Jaren steps into the turbolift.

Dol steps into the turbolift.

Kiare steps into the plush interior of the turboshaft.

Turbolift
A standard Turbolift with a control panel on the left hand side.
The pad allows one to type in the number of the floor they wish to travel
to. The lift is tiled with large marble squares on the floor and the
ceiling and walls are metallic. Type LEAVE to exit the Turbolift.

The ship is currently at green alert status.

OOC Note: Type LEVELS to view level information.

Malaki steps inside from the hanger.

The TurboShaft closes its doors as a low humming and whirring sound emanates from the walls around you. You feel a slight pull towards the floor, but within seconds, the slightly queasy feeling has dissipated and the doors hiss open again to greet the operations deck.

OOC: Type OUT to leave.

Jaren steps out into the operations deck.

Kiare leaves the TurboShaft, stepping out into the operations deck.

Operations Deck -- Diamante(#4396RVXntFN)
The complex is more than twenty meters across and nearly thirty
meters in length. The ship's primary computer feeds endless amounts of
information to the intelligence agents and technicians staffing the
fifty-plus terminals in the aft half of this complex.
Forward of the turbolift is a sunken amphitheater. It has a
large holoprojector unit in the center of this sunken area, capable of
rendering detailed information in three-dimensions above it. Towards
the far starboard side, the library computer controls the holoprojector,
as well as the trio of transparent data screens arrayed along the
 vaulted ceiling of the room.

Dol emerges from the TurboShaft.

Dol enters Operations Deck -- Diamante

As Jaren exits the turbo lift he extends his arms outward and makes a slight circle indicating the entire deck, "Welcome to the operations deck of the NRI flag ship Diamante. Where all your technology needs can be meet." He grins a little as he produces a small box and enters a code to cause the lid to open, revealing the shiny disc that had brought all this about, "Right this way and we can enter this little beauty into a reader and let you do your magic Mr. Marcis."

The swarthy Corellian, somewhat worse for wear, approaches the terminal, waiting for the disc to be placed within. Once it is, he moves his hands toward the datalink, and grimaces as he remembers that he is, in fact, one short. His left hand precariously searches for keys that it is not familiar with finding, and after a moment, the screen bursts alive with four letters in bold, yellow aurek-besh: P O N G. "Here it is, and it is here, at any rate." says Dol. He presses several keys, awkwardly, and the screen zooms in toward the letter "O." Way in. And suddenly, there is a single green nano-pixel, previously hidden from the naked eye. "That's where we want to go."

Stopping behind Jaren Kiare lets the second man deal with the program, it is his afterall. A moment or two later she finds a drink and then a seat.

Jaren watches the screen as Dol sets it running, "Go ahead and let it play when ever your ready. You've got the microphone so to speak." He smiles and he sits back himself to watch the display of what comes on from the disc.

Two thin lines in criss-cross find their target on the screen ... the green nano-pixel ... and the stocky man, Dol Marcis, presses the futuristic space spin of the "return" key. Suddenly, the screen goes vehemently blank. Dol turns, grinning. "It does not seem that they found anything. I could be wrong. But, at any rate ... here comes." No sooner has he sad these words than the decks holo-projector bursts into a display of ... the sought-after contents of the disk ...

[HOLO] In the upper atmosphere of Tatooine, the I2SD Tormentor's shields raise and it's power levels on scanners begins to rise to what many would consider dangerous. The massive wedge shifts in space to face an empty portion of the dune sea, suddenly without explanation, explosions can be detected on the surface where the vessel is poiting, as if the Imperials have a new secret weapon.

[HOLO] The Tormentor stands its ground as it monitors radion transmissions in space. The massive vessel hovers over the black smoking area of the planet. A pair of support shuttles exit it's hangars with a squad of Scimitar assualt bombers that swoop down to the planetary surface to investigate.

Blinking several times Kiare looks to Jaren as this isn't something she's ever heard of before, but then Jaren's the big wig and she's the new girl. Nothing gets told to her so she's shocked and curious at the same time.

Jaren nods his head as he steples his fingers in his lap, "Well, now isn't that interesting. I had heard reports of the bombardment of tatooine, though this information definitely does add a little more perspective to it." He smiles a little, "And I'm also not too worried about the Caspians if they did make a copy of it. It's not like they will be able to do anything with it. And once you have 'died'. The only person who knows about it aside from them will be dead. As far as they know any way. The only other lead that they would have would be me." He grins a little and chuckles, "Though it isn't likely that they would dare try to pull anything. That is of course if you wish to continue that route, though we would still be more than happy to fix your arm."
