Keeping ahead of Ta Kiare calls back, "You know that isn't what you want to do with me. You just want to grab me and..." She stops short seeing the others and it's quite possible that Naota runs right into her.

Shara sighs and pulls a vial from her belt, droping a few drops of a blood like liquid in the drink and stiring it with a claw tip. "I grew up here...in the less plesent parts to tell the truth, but it's a nice place. I could use a quick party right now.

Jaren nods to Shara and takes a small drink from his own glass, "I grew up where ever I felt like being for the most part. Foster parents didn't really mind to much what I did or got into." He shrugs a little as he starts to look up and down the beach. He smiles as he sees Kiare and Ta walk onto the beach near the house, he grins wicked, "Grab you and do what?"
He snickers softly as he walks over to Kiare and Naota and give Kiare a quick hug and nods to Naota, "Glad you two could make it. I see you didn't have too much trouble finding the place, I think that Dain has gotten himself lost though." He grins a little and smiles, "So shall I mix the drinks or would you all prefer to mix your own?"

Indeed he does bump into Kia playfully, nudging her to go and join the others on the veranda. Then with a chuckle he grins "Are you sure you want to know?" with that he drops his cooler and takes a seat beside Jaren picking up a cold one from the cooler. "Nice place you got here man, I just might buy my own place once I saved up enough credits. And no, we found the place fairly easy, the large fence was a dead giveaway."

Indeed she does make her way to the veranda and she sits down on the steps leaning back. Her head drops back and she's looking at Ta upside down, "Don't you think I already know?" That teasing grin as she pulls off the shades and the mischief sparkling in her eyes shows that she's giving him a hard time and enjoying it.

Shara felt something she had not felt in years. Whatever it was it was strange and caused a shivver to run through her tail a bit. Shara thought, could swear some one was watching her.She laped her ale a bit and turned to look over the beach with a oddly more curious then usual look in her eyes. "Excuse me." She drawled to Jaren as she moved from the small pourch out to the sand, wondering if she had over spiked her ale.

Lea wanders to the beach slowly, she can her people laughing and wonders what's happening. As she gets to the beach a figure stands out, a female Horansi like herself is here. She seems to recognise her and wondering why she begins to stroll over, wandering amongst the party goers. She glances around to see Naota nearby and she smiles and raises her hand to him, then she continues her walk towards the Horansi, still looking at her to figure out why she's familiar. She pushes stray strands of her hair back from her face as she walks

Jaren nods to Shara as she walks off the porch and then looks at the other two and raises and eyebrow then chuckles, "Ok so I'll mix the drinks then." He grins mischieviously as he moves over to the cooling unit and pulls out a glass for Kiare and poors a sparkling clear liquid into followed by a fair bit of amber liquid and a couple of ice cubes.
Setting the bottles back into the cooling unit he smiles as he makes his way back over to her and hands her the glass, "I hope you don't mind it being a little strong." He chuckles, "As I always have problems with my ratios. Good thing I'm not a bartender." He winks as he sits back down and grabs his own glass once more and takes a quick sip before sighing slightly after savouring the taste of it.

A military grade speeder moves onto the beach a pair of blue and white lights flash on the top, its repulsors hum softly in cruise mode and occasionally a light siren goes off to tell people to step out of the way. It moves down into the more popular portions of the beach and settles, parking for a moment, in a place normally reserved for those who wish to relax on the beach itself.
A few moments later, Tyler Damion smiles adjusting his sun glasses as he steps out of the speeder with a towel and bag in hand, "Thanks for the ride officer." The inspector says taking a moment to stretch, "I'll see you boys back at the office tomorrow." But for now Tyler was off and it was time to relax and do something that he enjoyed doing more than flying, and that was drinking.
Slowly the middle aged Corellian set up shop where the speeder was as it moves off the beach. He lays out his towel that has a logo of an X-wing and the words Ghost Leader -Retired- written on it plainly. Then he sits down and pulls out a six back of Corellian Spice-Ale and places it beside him, immediately taking one and opening it, this was the life.

Well, Ta doesn't seem to mind the flirtatious little blonde and her teasing. Laughing out he just takes a long sip from his ale and sinks deeper into the beach chair. "Aww, this is good stuff. We should have done this sooner." with that he pulls his shades off and hangs them onto his open shirt. Then his green eyes wander around the place and as Lea walks over he narrows his brows, he seems to recognize the female hornasi from the night before, so with a quick wave he greats her, but it seems Lea is heading toward the other horansi, so he just takes another sip and watches Tylor make his entrance, giving the older man a curious look when he unfolds the towel with the easily recognizable symbol on it.

Shara perks as she sees another Horansi and purrs softly as she approches the other woman with a smile. Shara's tail batted around a bit as she greeted her. "Hello there!' She said in a soft tone with a purring drawl to it.

Kiare shifts slightly leaning her back against Jaren's thigh she takes a sip of the drink, "Don't mind at all, dear." She stretches her legs out kicking off her shoes and crossing her legs at the ankle. "When was that trip you had to take?" She rests her head against him a little and grins up at her boss.

Jaren smiles and nods, "You mean the one for my meeting? Not for a couple of days. Or pretty much when I get around to it. No real time set up for it. Just when some of those analysts get me the information I need and then I need to get ahold of someone to set up the meeting." He shrugs, "But let's leave work out of this for the time being." He grins, "I'm tired of work and this is a break for it."

Lea glances around again at the new arrivals but she is focused on the other Horansi at the moment, she grins as Shara greets her, she knew she recognised her. They met a long while back, but Lea never forgets a face. She purrs lightly as she says "Hey there, you're Shara aren't you?". She reaches into her pocket and reveals a packet of cigarettes, taking one and lighting it she smiles again and says "We met a while back if I recall, at some social event or another, my name is Lea"

After getting the message from Jaren and checking in that she wasn't needed, meaning, her assignment keeps getting shifted a few days more each week due to a lot of bureaucratic paperwork (got to love politicians, indeed!), Shau'ri decides that she well deserves a little break after having been stuck on Chandrila for more than two weeks already. Like someone told her in jest a couple of days ago, politicians and senators are sooo entertaining... indeed...
Following the directions Jaren gave her, finding his place is fairly easy, and the scenery is truly beautiful, the sandy gold beaches, the sound of the waves breaking against the shore... perhaps one say she can settle in some place long enough to enjoy some 'me' time in a place like this, though, at the moment, that possibility seems indeed very far off...
Glancing about for her host, the tall redhead manages to locate Jaren, seated next to another female near the steps, and makes her way towards him, a relaxed smile visible on her face, "Hello Jaren, thanks for inviting me here today." And, gesturing to a bag she carries, she adds, "I brought a little gift, several extra bottles, hopefully you won't mind..." Of course, Shau knows he won't...
For those who take notice of the newest arrival, she looks human at a glance, though with a strange coloring, her darkly tanned skin contrasting with her red-gold hair. Other noticeable things are the slight accent in her voice, the Rs and Ss somewhow emphasized, and, lastly, the giveaway that she has non-human heritage, the cat-like pupils visible on her green-gold eyes.

The golden liquid from a Corellian Spice-beer begins emptying into Tyler's mouth as he gulps it down in a matter of moments. He places the empty bottle back into the older with the full ones. He quickly takes another one and stands up from his spot checking his pockets. He was armed, still, his privilege for his 'job' on Corellia, you know the one where he baby sits a moron governor and keeps the more intelligent people from up rising and turning Corellia into a better system. Yeah, that's about right. His hazel eyes turn and note some kind of gathering going on.
"Hmmm, party.." he mutters, he wasn't invited but that never has stopped him before, he wasn't technically invited to any party he's ever gone too. He takes a few moments to open his second beer and take a drink before plodding off toward the largest concentration of drinkers. He could smell the alcohol; it obviously is a Corellian trait to do that.

Sipping his ale Ta just sits back and closes his eyes, letting the warm breeze from the ocean play with his hair and with his shirt. For now he politely removes himself from the on going conversation around him, letting the horansi talk amongst themselves and the same goes for Kia and Jaren. He's just here to get a few cold ones down the hatch and to enjoy this perfect day on the beach. Zoning out everything else around him he seems to be falling asleep, though every few seconds he picks up his ale and lifting the bottle to his lips take a small sip.

Another drink from the glass and Kiare makes herself comfortable leaned up against Jaren, "Sure thing, anything else you want to leave behind?" Tipping her head back to look up at him she winks teasingly, "Because you just have to say." Her gaze shifts to the woman taking in the mismatched set of characteristics that make up the stranger, but she smiles brightly all the same.

Jaren shakes his head after smiling at Shau'ri, "Not a problem. I'm sure at some point or another this evening I'm going to have to call in a small favor and get someone to bring us some more drinks." He looks over to Naota and points his thumb to him, "If he drinks like he claims. Not to mention Dain should be arriving sometime soon as well. Between the two of them, I'm sure the liquor vendors have made a killing since they have been here." He winks over his shoulder at Naota and grins devilishly.
Jaren turns his head back down to look at Kiare and smiles as he wraps his arm around her shoulders, "I'm not sure exactly what you mean at this point, but I think anything other than work is open game." He grins a little for a moment, and winks at her. Then raising his eyes once more, "Shau'ri, this is Kiare, Kiare this is Shau'ri. She works with us from time to time, though her current assignment is a bit more delicate." He smiles, "And I believe you have already meant Ta, Shau'ri." He smiles a little and chuckles softly as he lifts his glass once more and takes another drink himself.

Shara nods as it finialy hits her. "Yes,I'm shara. I remember you definitely, A Goldmane too if I recall." Shara sips some of her blood spiked ale. "I was wanting to talk to you some more ever since I talked to Vor'en on Caspar. He told me you were ivolved with the leadership of Mutanda and a Goldmane." Shara chuckled. "I've never been to the homeworld as I was saying then. I'm working Praetor for Caspar over the weekend but after that I'm not really sure. If I have the time I'd like to go to Mutanda and see it." Shara said with a bit of a sigh. "I don't know if Caspar indends to keep me on after the events this weekend or not. I may be getting more free time then I wanted." Shara said, still purring though and totaly thrilled to be talking to one of her own race.

A stray strand of hair falls into Lea's eyes and she sighs, pushing it back behind her ears, she then looks back to Shara and smiles broadly "Indeed I am a Goldmane, Nkosi Cal'his's daughter" She grins and chuckles at the mention of Vor'en's name "Ahh, my good friend Vor'en, I dread to think what he said about me. And yes I am involved with the running of Mutanda, I work in the Territories Sector of the CSA. It would be wonderful if you could come to Mutanda, I'd really like that". She smiles again and says "It's really good to be talking to another Horansi again, means I don't hurt my neck looking down all the time".

Beer in hand the Corellian inspector trudges on away from his little beach layout, toward what seems to be one of the more upscale and premier locations for housing. Tyler would never understood why people paid more to get closer to the beach with the Corellian storms that rage off the sea during the latter portions of raining seasons. No matter, it was a clear day now and it was full of the nonsense he liked to be a part of, no, not the party, the drinking. He takes a swig of his spice-beer and moves in spotting some faces he recognize as those who have done their time in the service of the New Republic and a few from data files he has acquired during his own history in the government.
Tyler slowly reaches into one of his jacket pockets in which he pulls a cigar out of and places it into his mouth, an igniter is produced from another pocket as he lights it and takes a few moments to get it evenly lit. It wasn't anything classy just the cheap kind you can pick up at a store front in any Starport, where they made you pay double for anything. The CorSec Inspector finally reaches the house and takes a look up at it and offers a sort-of half-smirk, or a lopsided grin, despite its dangerous positioning it was still a nice place he thought.

"Nice meeting you, Kiare." she says, smiling at Jaren and Kiare, and following the former's gesture she sees... what -is- Ta doing here? If there is someone she wasn't expecting to see today is the pilot... then again, not that it bothers her in the slightest. "Yes, I've met him, indeed..." Shau replies, looking very much amused, for some reason. "Let me place the bottles with the rest of the drinks, I have someone to surprise here... Be right back..." Ooooh, is that a devilish gleam on her golden eyes? Most certainly. So, after the bottles are taken care off, Shau'ri starts to walk over to the unsuspecting pilot, taking care on not revealing her presence until she is right behind him. Placing her hands on his eyes, she says, barely restrained amusement quite evident on her voice, "You have one guess, and you better not waste it..." Heh, as if Ta is not going to recognize her immediately...

Gabrielle ambles her way down towards the beach. She had often found her way here when she needed some time to think and clear her mind...but it would seem that she would hardly get the chance to do so amid the quiet roll of waves. She eyes the soiree taking place on the golden sands before her, slowing her steps a bit.

Shara nods. "The other races do cause posture problems, even the wooks are short."

Shara grins with a laugh. "Would you like a drink? I have a vail of and unusual blood I use to spike my drinks with and it is exceptionaly good in Corellian ale. Not only would I like to come to Mutunda but I'd also like to stay a while. I still haven't got a clue as to why my parents left, the Empire isn't all that bad really. At least they don't attack neutrals with terrorist methods like the NR. It's a shame that I have never seen many of my own kind in my life"

Shara dismisses the thought with a flick of her tail. "I hope you'll be here over the weekend at least. If after everything is over there is room on you ship and you ok, I'll come back with you." She gestures at her bandaged leg. "I can crash a swoop going at 19S on a strightaway. I don't have ny own ship incidently." Shara laughed at her own poor piloting skills and smiles.

Well, as already stated, Ta was zoned out as it is, though even if he had been on full alert he would still have missed Shau's light steps approaching his chair from behind. Her walk could be part of her non-human heritage or her training with the NRI, either way, the young pilot didn't stand a chance. His first indication was a pair of soft hands wrapping around his face, covering up his eyes. Rather unexpected as last time he checked there was no one at this party who'd do something like this. His initial reaction is of course shock.
His hand twitches spilling some of his ale, and he almost even dropped the whole bottle. Fingers curling into a 'deathgrip' he manages to hang onto it though. But while he might not have heard her 'sneaking' up' on him, there is no way he could not recognize her voice, though her mere presence here is almost as shocking as the pair of hand over his eyes was. His lips slowly shoot upwards into a warm smile and his empty hand reaches up, wrapping around her wrist but for now he doesn't try to 'break' her hold.
"I'm not sure, but let me use my magic powers.. hmm, oh blessed Force help me divine who my mysterious assailant is.. I see.. someone tall and graceful, with long flowing red hair, her eyes, yes, her eyes are golden like honey or the sun itself and her smile is.. I got it! Shau'ri!" with that he gently pulls her hand off his eyes and kisses her palm.

Smiling again as the redhead wanders off Kiare looks up at Jaren and winks leaning up trying to kiss his cheek and then speaks softly to him. When she draws back she's grinning even more and asks, "So when does the food and swimming start?" Still not sure who some of the people are Kiare looks around and asks, "Wasn't Dain coming? I was gonna ask him to dance if we could get some music."

Jaren grins slightly as he looks back down at Kiare, "Well the food is going to be ready when that busted up excuse of a droid finishes the BBQ. And swimming is whenever we feel like it." He smiles as he leans down to her and grins and mummers a slightly audible "Thank you." and hugging her shoulders with his arm. Grinning slightly as Shau'ri surprises Ta he can't help but laugh as he listens to the pilot as he smooth talks the redheaded woman. At the same time, he bites down a comment to poke fun at the both of them and just chuckles softly.

Lea chuckles and says "Actually I wouldn't mind a drink, I am a little thirsty. It would be so wonderful for you to stay on Mutanda for a while, I have an extra roon at my quarters that you can gladly have. And I agree with you on the Empire my dear. Also, I'm sure that with a little digging we can find out more about your parents and they're reasons for leaving" She tucks another strand of falling hair behind her ear as she continues "And you are quite welcome to come back with me after the party if you would like, I have no other business here. As to piloting, I'm not much good either" she chuckles, her eyes glittering slightly.

Tyler finishes his second beer, his eyes looking back at his blanket and at the six pack there sweating in the sun. The Corellian sighs and turns his back on it, there would be another day for such things and he wasn't above drinking hot spice-beer, it is just a proper thing to do sometimes. He takes a long draw from his cigar, and moves toward the steps of the home before him, he could smell the alcohol and his sense was driving him toward it. His steps were slow and deliberate. He looks around for someone to ask spotting Jaren of all people with a lady friend, interesting. His hazel eyes flicker in the light as he offers a brief smile and a light shake of his head.
"Excuse me you two love birds, but I'm a Corellian inspector for CorSec and my need for beer has pushed me into the red zone of soberness, if you could direct me toward a beer or something it would be very nice and proper." He offers a slight grin looking at the home and things, he wasn't sure what the party was for, didn't care, but the fellowship of drinking was a powerful institution and it was something that brought even bitter enemies together.
Tyler takes another long draw off his cigar enjoying the smoke and its taste in his mouth, and that all too familiar burning sensation running down the back of his throat, "Oh yeah that's the stuff, so what's this party for?" he inquires as he talks smoke rolls out of his mouth and nostrils. The sound of the sea, the smell of the salt water and alcohol brought Tyler into a rare and blissful state he was reaching a level of nirvana previously not thought possible.

Finding a quiet spot just a few meters off from the festivity, Gabrielle relents to just sitting and watching. No chance for quiet contemplation this time. She watches the goings on from her vantage point. Recognizing a few faces...or none. She wasn't sure anymore these days.

The beach was already crowded with party goers. The original plan of a smaller party flew out the window as people started detecting the faint scent of booze over the beach. Dain was fully aware and had spent some time picking out the best at the store. Swaggering up already a bit drunk Dain is followed by several strong types who each carry a kef of Corellian Ale and nearly pourning from a satchel Dain carries half a dozen bottles of Chandrillan Champagne. The stuff all the entertainers had put in their videos, it was a trendy drink but good none the less! Struggling through the sand the young producer spots Ta and Jaren and several of the young ladies he'd met the day before and smiles drunkenly. "Hi there." He says stupidly. Dain was definatly already started up.

"Who else, Nandaba? The Tooth Fairy?" Shau is trying hard not to just laugh at Ta's reactions, at least, she did manage to take him by surprise, her guess being the correct one, apparently. "Flatterer," is her other response to his comment, though it is quite evident it is said in jest. "You know, it could have been Vik, after all. I think you still have some knives stuck on your back from the last time we all met in the Diamante..." It really would have been amusing if their mutual friend was here; oh well.

Not making any effort to release her hand from his grasp, her other one stops covering his eye as she moves to recline against the veranda, next to his chair, her face softening noticeably at his gesture. Still, Shau'ri keeps on the amused tone on her voice, "Jaren was just pointing out you intend to empty his liquor supply. Should I keep a first aid kit handy? You know, just in case..." Just in case he ends up face flat drunk on the floor or something; the redhead will probably end up tossing Ta on the Anubis if that's the case. Or the Obsidian. Or perhaps toss him on the beach, that should wake him up if needed, right? Heh.

Untangling herself from Jaren she rises and moves up to the veranda proper slipping off her shirt and shorts to reveal the swimwear beneath it. From her carrysac she draws a shirt and pulls it on over the suit. Refilling her drink she returns to the steps settling back down beside Jaren, but her eyes are on Dain and she winks at him after waving to get his attention.

Jaren nods to the man as he walks up to the steps and grins, "Cooler's on the porch in the corner. As for the reason for this little gathering. Is there really a need for a reason?" He chuckles and little and grins slightly as he takes another sip of his glass and after a moment tosses it back and finishes it off. He looks at the glass for a moment then at the man, "Come think of it. Admission is getting me a refill." He chuckles and holds out the glass, not really caring if he has to get up and get his own or not, it was merely a joke for the fun of it.

Laughing out Ta shakes his head and takes a sip "Well, come on now, do you actually expect Jaren to tell the truth? Ever? Come on now.. I plan to have a few drinks, but that's about it. I had a hard night last night so I was gonna take it easy.. besides.." then of course his comlink suddenly goes off at the worse time. "What the? I thought I left you back on my ship!" with a grumble he thumbs it open and reads the scrolling text. His expression darkens and finally snaps the small device closed.
"Darn, I guess I don't even get to enjoy a few colds ones. I'm needed up on CEC for, well.." his eyes glance around and he just shrugs "Stuff. I hope I'll be back in a few hours, save me some ale though. I might need it." with that he stands and gives Shau a little hug, then a nod to the others "Have fun, I should be back in a bit." then he's gone, walking back toward the city.

Shara purrs loudly and leads lea to the cooler, retriveing another bottle of Coerllian ale and spiking it with the spicy cimminon smelling blood in her vial. She hands it to Lea. "Thank you, I'd love it. It would be a comfort to know more about my parents. They never said anything except the standard NR garbage propaganda. I'm cursed with a anti-machine aura. They fail when ever I'm around them and I've blew up a droid by turning it on so you couldn't be worse then me."

Shara laughs again lapping her ale afterwards. "I heard some good things about Mutanda." Shara said. Her voice maintaining it's purring quality.

Lea smiles and takes a sip of her drink, it tastes wonderful and she takes another sip quickly. She chuckles at Shara's words and says "Believe me I know the feeling, I have broken several items just by touching them. Mutanda is a good place, if a little quiet, but I'm planning on livening things up a little" She grins as she speaks, a purr creeping into her voice

"I work for the guy, or you forgot that already?" replies Shau at Ta's comment about Jaren, though it is not said in a loud tone of voice or anything. "Hard night, what happened?" But then, Ta's comlink goes off, and even before he said he had to go, his expression of annoyance and his muttering gives it off. "Take care, Ta." she says. Timing. Got to love it. When it is not Shau being called away, then it is Ta's turn. And her 'free days' are going to end soon, same as his leave. Returning the pilot's hug, the tall redhead, adds an "I'll be around, you be careful," and, stays on the veranda for a while after he goes, then, makes her way inside to get a drink.

Hmm, some Corellian Spiced Rum should do the trick. CorSec is one of the finest law enforcement agencies in the galaxy. The elite of all Corellian police placed in an over force that works on planetary investigations. Most of those who retired from CorSec got jobs as body guards for senators and a nice pension. Tyler was a proud example of what it was not to be a good officer. He smirks at Jaren, "Yeah yeah.. drinks now.." was all he could get out his eyes fall on his lady friend and he offers a wink, "Nice suit." And with that he was off, up, and toward the booze, like a diving X-wing moving on an enemy TIE at full attack speed. He moves with reflexes unnatural for someone at his age after all he was nearing forty, his eagerness resembles more of a 12 year old on Christmas day, and manages to get to his own little corner of heaven. Suddenly his face turns serious and he perches his hand on his chin and hmms. What would ole Tyler drink? He grabs a bottle of Corellian Whiskey and looks down at classes and scoffs, "I need not these small cups or glasses!" He declares aloud and pops the bottle and turns it up taking a few long drinks of it.
Moments later he brings the bottle down and lets coughs beating his chest with his right fist twice, "WOOO! That's the spirit right there!" he shouts taking the bottle up again and then managing to place it on the floor beside the coolers nearly half-gone. Tyler Damion was beyond seasoned drinker he was what some may consider a full blown alcoholic. His eyes were watering as he opens the cooler to grab a simple beer and move away slowly. He leans up against the home for a moment to regain his composure. His hazel eyes shooting back a glance at the bottle. He shrugs to himself and stumbles back to grab it, he'd commandeer the whole thing, what's left of it.

Gabrielle had seen plenty of former soldiers go down in drink. One of her closest friends was among them, but this.... Quietly she watches the group, Tyler in particular as he seems to rather stand out, his only goal the drink, or so it would seem. She'd seen him before, likely, possibly, on board a ship a long time ago or in a bar here on Corellia, though it really didn't matter. Sighing she pulls the datapad from the pouch fastened to her belt, the screen coming to life with a sickly green glow.

The young producer had told the muscle to drop the kegs near eachother and Dain took it upon himself to unload the bottles of Chandrillian Champagne in easy reach. His bottle nearly half gone and his soberness completely forfeit. Glancing at those gathered he recognized quite a few of the people. It looked like this was going to be quite the party. Coming alone had left Dain a bit unfufilled however. It was time to change that. Without much thought Dain pushes through the gathered throng in search of someone. He didn't know who. One thing was sure, Dain was drunk and this party had just started.

Kartijan arrives on the beach, stepping carefully among the throngs of party-goers she begins to mingle with people, offering polite smiles to any she notices looking her way. She seems intent on having people notice she is here, but at the same time, she is in no rush to stop and chat with any particular group of people, she weaves and wends her way around the partying, giving people many chances to see her.

Kiare winks right back at the man, she had settle down right beside Jaren and smiled at him but moments later the 'WOOO!' draws her attention but she only rolls her eyes and gazes back out at the water. She had always known Corellia was a beautiful place but as a kid they hadn't lived in such nice places so this view wasn't the kind she had gotten much of. What with her new job and new friends, and new aquaintances things were starting to get more interesting in her life. Right now though she wanted different company and so she rises from the steps to follow Dain into the crowd.

Jaren watches Ta leave and offers a nod and grin to him, "I'm sure we'll have plenty more to drink when you return." He grins a little, "But to be on the safe side, pick up some more on your way back, I'm sure I can find it in the heart of my employer to conpensate you." He grins wickedly and turns his attention back towards the ocean as he slips his arms out of his shirt, and tosses it over the railing and begins to stand up after setting the glass down on the steps beside him.

Grinning as Dain has the large kegs set down and grins, "Seems you have everything you think we'll need. You don't happen to have some music strapped to the backs of one of those big guys do ya? My system is busted." He shrugs a little and grins. Walking over to the cooler he pulls out a small bottle of whiskey and picks up a shot glass. After taking two shots, he sets the bottle back in the cooler and pulls out a can of Ale to move back over to the steps and sit back down.

Shara grins. "Maybe thing will liven up while I'm there. I could use a good scruff, I think I'm getting out of practice with my claws and teeth." She turned up her ale taking a big swallow. "Maybe tomarrow will have a small ammount of excitement as well. who knows."

Lea smiles to Shara and says "Oh I'm sure we can find someone for you to have a scuffle with my dear". She chuckles and says "I can think of several people" taking a swallow of all she continues "I have too many scuffles for my liking lately" she laughs at this and says "And not through fault of my own... well, not all of them". She glances around and notices several familiar figures, a few of which she recognises. She spots Dain headed in they're direction and smiles, she knows he's drunk, and that is always entertaining, turning to Shara she says "There's a guy who is heading our way that I'll introduce you too, he's cool, I only met him recently but he's approachable for some reason, thats if he doesn't wander off in some other direction first". She then turns the conversation around again and smiles "I'm really looking forward to you coming to Mutanda y'know"

The beer and the Whiskey was gone a few moments later the bottles placed neatly on the porch beside the Corellian officer. He of course was sitting down now his cigar butt had found its way into the beer bottle and he was listening to the waves. He smiles to himself, "Now that is drinking." He proclaims, but of course he was no where near done, but a more powerful urge was over coming him. The Corellian sea began to call him. Tyler Damion stood up wobbling only softly, he was far from drunk, it took more than what he took down. He removes his colorful over shirt to show off his sleeveless white T and his tactical holster.
The Inspector takes a few breaths backs up to the house and then sprints toward the railing and performing a handstand on it. He propels himself off the railing toward the beach with his arms. It wasn't a graceful landing as he falls face first into the sand, but ole Tyler was a trooper picking himself up, spitting out the sand, and sprinting toward the water, his sandals flying off his feet with two of the earlier steps and him shouting as loud as possible, "Everyone into the water!"
He makes it to the crashing waves pushing himself out and then finally diving into the water itself, head long into a wave and beginning to take a few strokes out into slightly deeper water, he could keep himself entertained out there easily a few hours.

Gabrielle glances up at the yelling, shaking her head before burying herself into the information scrolling on the screen. It had to have been the tenth time she had read over the documents. And probably the tenth time she had told herself she wouldn't read through them again. If anything she was definitely stubborn. Nevermind the red hair and green eyes, for her stubborness came from the blood pumping through her veins. Thrumming her fingers on the datpad, she bites her lower lip, watching the party goers but her thoughts and focus elsewhere.

Continuing her path through the crowd Kiare laughs at some of the things said to her by strange men but she moves on ignoring most of them and the offers or suggestions they make. She stops to watch Tyler's display and shakes her head turning back to the mingling reminding herself why old drunks were less than fun but more than entertaining. Still, if she's looking for someone in particular it would appear that she hasn't found him or her yet. So she continues to move through the crowd destination unknown.

Jaren leans back on the step and lays his head against the floor for a moment to look up at the clear glass overhang and into the deep blue sky. He smiles to himself for a few moments before sitting up streight and looking back down over the beach and people moving about. After A moment he gets up and walks into the house for a second wondering what could be taking that blasted droid so long. A moment later a billow of smoke errupts from the house as he opens a window, his voice carrying over the noise of the party as he shouts, "Blasted machine! BBQ does NOT mean burnt to a crisp!" Shaking his head he grabs what is left of the uncooked food and brings it out onto the porch, and sets it into a seperate cooling unit and looks about for some way to cook it himself.

Shara smiles. "I've wanted to go there my entire life. I'm sure your not at fault. I can never get enough scruffs as long as I come through uninjured."

Shara grins mechiveously and drinks a bit more of her ale. "He looks ...respectable. I'll be glad to meet him." Her tail flicks around her waist as she retrieves a set of dice. "And if you two would like to gamble a bit I'll press my luck."

Shara's tail flicked arround her uninjured leg.(OOC:I mean by gambling, dropping some creds and all doing a +check gambling and highest takes all. Then the posts are done.)

Lea chuckles and says "Dain? Respectable? Well...he is sorta...maybe. He is a nice guy though" she grins and says "As to a gamble I'd love too my dear, as for Dain, I'm sure he will whenever he gets here". She pushes her hair out of her eyes and wanders to a dune and sits on the sand, her legs crossed. She watches Tyler jump into the sea and laughs lightly, a smile still fixed on her face. Her tail twitches behind her she curls it around her waist into her lap. Looking up at Shara she says "Now I know how people feel when they're trying to talk to me" she grins

A whine of engines can be heard down the beach and from a distance several kids can be seen climbing on and off of a couple of beat up swoops, taking turns racing them along their short stretch of sand. "Looks like there's more than one party going on around here..." Gabrielle says quietly to herself, glancing between the two. Forcing herself to do so, she turns of the datapad, tucking it away to read it again later no doubt. But for now...she would just sit back and observe.

He's out here somewhere, she just knows it. Kiare keeps wandering the crowd looking for someone and it seems that the music has FINALLY arrived from somewhere as it comes from somewhere and the blonde adds a bit of a hip-swishing dance step to her travel through the crowd. Another drink of the brandy from her glass and a little more dancing as she searches, but still the invitations and suggestions are ignored. The girl has an agenda in mind and is not changing plans in mid stride.

After a couple of moments Jaren gives up on finding anything to cook the food for now and moves back over to pick up his drink, and take a long drink of it. Standing and leaning against the rail for a moment, he looks over the people in all their various places around the beach. Sighing he finishes his drink and tosses the can back towards the house where that malfunctioning beat up excuse of a droid can pick it. Moving back to his cooler he grabs another drink and opens it up after sitting down on the railing.

There are bonfires in several places along the beach as part of the celebration of the final weekend of the Corellian Festival. Occasionally seen as she moves about the venue, Kartijan Lore continues in her role of Hostess for the almost over two week event.

Shara walks over and has a seet besides Lea and lays on her side with her tail wrapped around her leg just as her comlink buzzed she actived it with a calmm look and spoke a few calm words into it then then deactivated it...

Shara says, "cheretz! iine rotan olha shok'la shok'la shok'la treglan rotan yhna ergol...! yhna' iine shok'la, yhna grranack cheretz kalga. dakeaba' l'otte shok'la shok'la.'", in Horansi.

Shara smiles to Lea and hops to her feet, walking off at a fast pace with a warm smile and a wave.

Lea smiles at her softly and says "Its not a problem my dear, I shall see you tomorrow" She stands and hugs Shara, purring at her, then sits again "And then we shall go and enjoy Mutanda" She grins again at her and watches as she walks away

Gabrielle begins to hum a bit with the tune of the music that someone somewhere on the beach has turned on and turned up. The whole beach seemed to be turning into a huge festivity. Someone walking past her tosses her a bottle of dark corellian ale as they head on to another part of the beach. Gabrielle lifts a brow and laughs, shaking her head and speaking to no one in particular. "I guess I looked thirsty." She grins, nestling the bottle in the sand next to her and stretching a bit.

At this point Dain had gotten well passed drunk and boredered on the spins. Thinking it was a good time to stop Ewan Dain set his bottle in the sand. Looking up from it his eyes fell on a Horansi, his vision wasn't quite clear but image slowly filtered into his head, until he met her face. "Hi there." He said stupidly again. "I'm Dain." He offers his hand to Lea and he seems to recognize her, though barely. Where was it, Jammers? The CSA? It was all too much for Dain. Arching an eyebrow and doing his best to appear sober he smiled, waiting for a response.

Finally she manages to find him, but he's busy sopping drunk and hitting on someone she thought she heard saying something about being taller than a wookie. So off she goes toward the water. Tying the shirt around her waist she sits in the damp sand letting the water wash up around her feet and rear, arms looped around her knees and she watches the sky.

Jaren watches Kiare walk off over towards the water and pushes off his perch and makes his way down the porch and across the sand to her. Sitting down he rests a hand on her shoulder as he leans over and offers her a soft kiss on the cheak, "Not bored already I hope?" He smiles at her as he watches the waves move in and out. The sound relaxing in its own way as he lifts his drink and takes a small swallow of the cool liquid inside it.

Lea sees Dain walking over and as he greets her she smiles and says "I know, I remember, Jammers, yesterday" She chuckles slightly and says "Take a seat before you fall down hon" with a grin. She pushes her hair back and taking a jewelled hair clip from her pocket pins it up. She empty's her glass of ale and sighs happily "So...how are you? Besides drunk I mean" she asks with a smile

After spending some time inside, and mixing herself a Tattoine Sunrise, the tall redhead steps back into the veranda. Shau'ri also took the time to change into proper 'beach clothing', which is to say a tank top and shorts atop a two-piece bathing suit, since she is not yet sure whether to go to the water or not. Sipping from her drink, Shau seems to be relaxed, merely enjoying the view of the golden beach and the blue waves, a little smile on her lips at the antics of those at the party are noticed...

Dain smiled at the Horansi woma and nodded. "Oh yeah, You werre therre with Naotra huh?" His words were a bit slurred, couldn't Dain muster up enough sobriety to hold a conversation? Apparently not. "Yeah you were there, I remember you now, how are you?" He stumbles a bit before locking his legs into position. Wow he really was drunk, but the thought only echoed in his mind for a moment. "I'm not all that drunk but I'll take you up on that seat." It doesn't go smoothly but Dain sits flat in the sand pushing his short hair back. "That'sh much better." He drolls drunkenly. "Ummm what were we talking about?" Foolish Dain.

Shaking her head Kiare looks up at Jaren, "No, not really. I can lose myself in a crowd, I guess I just can't find myself in one." She brushes a loose lock of hair back from her face and finishes her drink pressing the glass into the wet sand so it doesn't get lost.
Still the music is playing in the background and a glance over her shoulder tells her that she's not likely to get it, plus with Ta gone she's not likely to get the dance he owes her either. So much for the small party on the beach to relax.

Jaren smiles as he stands up and holds out a hand to offer her some help standing up, "Care for a quick swim? The cold water is probably what we both need after the drinks and the sun!" He grins a little as he looks down at her and smiles, his eyes locking with hers.

Lea grins at Dain's drunken state "Yeah I was there at Jammers for a while last night" she grins, hoping to remind him without being to obvious "You were a little more sober then however" she chuckles, grinning at him through dark wisps of smokey black hair that have fallen once more into her eyes. She turns and takes a bottle out of her bag, it contains dark berry-coloured liquid "Here, drink some of this, it'll sober you up a bit" she chuckles, hoping to make him feel better "It just tastes like fruit, its quite nice really" In fact it is mostly fruit juice, with an extra ingredient added.

Debating the bottle at her side for a few moments, Gabrielle stands, carefully dusting the sand from her slacks and picking up the still cold and unopened bottle of ale. She never was one to drink, at least not if the occasion didn't call for it. Gab heads on down the crest of the beach, handing the bottle to the first person she sees... "Here, you'll enjoy this far more than I would at the moment." She heads back up over the rise towards the plaza, disappearing past the crowd.

Lea chuckles again and says "I know who you are Dain, you said, feeling any better?" She pauses for a second "And yes I am Lea" she states, giggling a little. She sees Shara's drink still sitting in the sand and picks it up, taking a sip "Mmm, much better" she says, smiling

Kiare studies the hand for several moments before deciding to accept it. She rises, "I'm not sure I want a swim. Do you have a sandwich or something I can get? I haven't eaten since breakfast and... well, it is getting on. At the call from above she releases Jaren's hand excusing herself so that he can tend to the woman headed in his direction, "You should take care of... your new guest."

Jaren smiles as he takes back her hand and leads her towards the house, "Of course there is something to eat. I'm sure the droid couldn't have burned -everything-." He grins a little as he starts to move up the sand towards the house and raises a hand in greeting towards the arriving Kate and offers a smile.

Lea chuckles again and says "I know who you are Dain, you said, feeling any better?" She pauses for a second "And yes I am Lea" she states, giggling a little. She sees Shara's drink still sitting in the sand and picks it up, taking a sip "Ahh, that's much better" she says, smiling

Noticing Jaren and Kiare making their way back to the house, Shau also sees the newest arrival at this little beach party. A tall glass held casually on her hands, a Tattoine Sunrise for those who can recognize that sort of thing, the tall redhead moves slowly towards Jaren, saying, "So, we getting some music to liven this up?" She feels tempted to add 'Boss' to the end of the sentence just for the comedic value, but she lets it remain unsaid for the time being...

Kate moves down the beach toward the fire. Lea, talking with Dain captures her attention as does the departing Jaren and the flitting about Kartijan. Each gets a quick wave and a smile before Kate settles near Dain, "How are you, Lea?"

Kartijan does eventually tire of all the walking amongst the party-goers and the time arrives when she pauses near one of the bonfires to listen to the music and watch the flames for at least a short while.

Kiare smiles at Jaren not sure about this whole hand holding thing. He did say something about SECRETs and no one finding out. But he's the one pushing it in public. She's not sure what to think or do about it, but she will be getting something to eat so at least she's not gonna have to listen to her stomach rumble any longer.

Jaren smiles and lightly squeezes her hand as they walk up the steps and towards the house, "So what would you like, something hot, or something cold? We can zap something up if you prefer hot, or I am sure I have some sandwhich supplies inside the house. Your choice, or I could order some kind of delivery." He smiles as the near the steps and looks over to her face.

Lea laughs loudly as Dain passes out on the sand, she smiles and finishing her drink stands and walks towards a famaliar figure a little way off. She grins again as she approaches, its Kate. She walks up behind her and taps her on the shoulder lightly "Heya hon" she says with a chuckle "How are you?" She smiles still as she tucks her hair behind her ears once more

Kiare grins at Jaren's squeeze of her hand, "A sandwich would be fine, great actually. Some juice too maybe? I've been drinking most of the day and something else would be appreciated."

Moving towards the veranda again, Shau takes a sip of her drink, turning to gaze at the people around her. There is a soft music in the background, now that she realizes it. Hrm, she's getting distracted. Another sip of her drink, another slow, lazy look around, still leaning comfortably, yet not in the way of those walking. There is an amused little smile as she watches Kiare and Jaren though. Cute, indeed...

Jaren smiles and squeezes her hand again before releasing it and walking up into the house for a moment, after a couple moments and sound shouting about an 'incompotent droid' he comes back out with a couple of sandwhiches balanced on a plate in one hand and a glass of juice in the other hand. Walking back down into the sand he smiles as he holds out the plate and juice to Kiare.

Kate jumps at the touch on her shoulder and whirls around, her hair a golden wave behind her. "Oh! Oh, Lea!" Recognizing the other, she would offer a hug, but... Well... Lea is so /tall/. "How are you?" She glances over yonder, "Ewan passed out? Already?" A soft chuckle and she looks up at her friend again, "Where have you been, lass? I've not seen you in a long time."

Lea grins as Kate jumps at the tap on her shoulder "I'm fine Kate, you?" she enquires in a cheery voice, she glances back at Dain on the sand and says "Indeed he has my dear, already" She pulls a pack of cigarettes from her pocket and pulls one out, lighting it she says "I've been a little busy hiring and firing people for Mutanda of late, business has taken up a lot of my time, but I've been around, I do have a tendancy to vanish from time to time"

A grin touches Kiare's features when Jaren returns and she accepts the glass of juice and take a half a sandwich, "You're too sweet, Jaren, thank you so much." A bite of the sandwich and then all of a sudden she leans up to kiss him. Intended to hit just on the corner of his mouth, but her aim isn't the greatest even after she swallowed the bite of sandwich so that she could kiss.

Jaren smiles and instead of missing completely, Kiare hits dead on, with a little help from himself of course. He smiles at her after a moment and blushes slightly, "How's the sandwhich? I had to kick the blasted droid out of the kitchen so he didn't mess that up to." He grins a little and and laughs softly.

Kartijan seems deep in thought as she stands there staring at the flames of the particular bonfire she is standing near. She is still the hostess though and she smiles while watching one nearby couple having a particularly good time as they laugh and speak together in low voices. With a deep breath followed by a bit of a sigh, Kart turns away from the bonfire to resume her 'rounds' though she moves slowly now, perhaps she is getting tired, but still she is determined to remain available to be seen at the very least. For the moment she is making her path closer towards the homes in this area rather than down by the water.

It is impossible to miss the little 'show', Jaren and Kiare's unexpected kiss. It -does- bring a smile to Shau'ri's lips, though, to be honest, it also brings to mind a certain situation she's going through now, for which she has certainly -no- clue whatsoever. Suffice to say, there are more 'chinks' on her armor than what she initially thought, and a certain green-eyed pilot is making a good job of locating each and every one of them and and eroding them even more. Blink. Don't think about that now, take another sip of your drink, and look towards the beach, okay? Yes, do that, indeed. Time enough to deal with that later...

Kiare blushes a little, she hadn't intended to hit dead on his lips, especially in front of all the party goers when he wants to keep it a big secret. At this rate the whole republic is gonna know! Not knowing what to do or say she takes another bite of sandwich and only then responds to his question, "Oh uh.. it's fine, not bad at all."

Kate does not see the kiss, for she is down by Dain's prostrate form speaking with Lea. No, instead, she winks up at her friend, "Let's bury him in the sand, shall we? Serves him right for going to sleep in the first place." The wind that blows in from the sea is salt-tanged and soft. It lifts Kate's hair, sending a ripple through the length. Moving around Lea, she picks up Dain's hand and eases off his watch. "Though I don't think he'd take kindly to this getting mucked up." Glancing over her shoulder at Lea, then, "What say you?"

Lea chuckles at her suggestion but says "Why not?" as she sits on the ground next to Dain and begins covering him with sand scooped up in her large hands. She smiles all the while and looks up at Kate to say "He'll have a shock when he wakes up" She tries in vain to blow hair out of her eyes, and continues to chuck sand over Dain.

Jaren smiles at Kiare and picks up a half of a sandwhich on the plate for himself as well. After a moment he remembers there are some others who might be a bit hungry as well, "The droid wrecked the BBQ, so feel free to go into the kitchen and help yourself to whatever if you're hungry. Just kick the droid to the curb if he gets in your way." He chuckles a little as he turns to wrap an arm around Kiare's waist after putting his half of the sandwhich back on the plate.

Kartijan is overall paying no attention to the people having private parties at their residences, but her attention is drawn by the sight of a blonde woman taking the watch off a prostrate form on the sand while an Horansi stands nearby. Curious as to what is happening she pauses to watch events unfold. One eyebrow goes up as the Horansi takes a seat on the beach and begins to cover the torso of the 'sleeper', but she continues to merely watch the goings on. Laying her head against Jaren's shoulder Kiare gives up attempting to keep the secret that Jaren said needed to be kept. Leaning against him slightly she nibbles at her sandwich and speaks to him in hushed tones not even caring who, if anyone sees because it seems obvious to her that he doesn't care anymore who sees.

Jaren smiles as he converses with her quietly. After a moment he looks about for any of the beach chairs to sit down, "Would you like to have a seat? I'm sure I can find something somewhere to sit on." He smiles a little more, "Or we could just sit in the sand or steps."

Hmmm... her glass is empty already, and honestly, she doesn't care for another drink, not this very moment. Food is another matter entirely, Shau'ri decides, but she is feeling somewhat lazy as well. Slitted pupils narrowing a bit, her golden eyes stray again towards the beach, focusing on the little troupe that is about to bury an unsuspecting sleeper into the sand, the blonde girl and the tall Horansi. Sleeper? Or simply dead drunk? Maybe both. Still, it is something amusing to see, and it helps to take her mind of other things. There is the hint of a smile around her lips now, as well as curiosity as she idly wonders if the guy will wake up in the middle of his 'burial.

Kate tucks Dain's watch... er... No pockets. She tucks it into her halter top where the fabric and her form hold it safely. Ahem. Then, she too kneels on the sand and begins scooping warm, moist handfulls onto Dain's body. "We'll just leave his head out. That way he can still breath. Though one of us should stay until he wakes up. So he is not sunburned or whatever." Laughter touches her tone and she winks at Lea, "Yes?" It is just too slow, with hands, so Kate begind to look around for something to use as a shovel. Or more hands? Spotting Kartijan over yonder and the blond girl there, she waves to encourage them to come over. "Want to help? Mr. Dain should learn to pace himself."

Lea chuckles and says "I'll stay, I'm waiting for a friend anyway, I can keep an eye on him" She continues to shovel sand on top of him, the top of his legs nearly covered now "This could take a while I think"

Kartijan is startled to be invited to participate, then smiles as she notices WHO is inviting her. She does take the opportunity to step closer and get a better look at who the poor sap that has gotten himself into trouble is though and moves to settle herself in the sand beside Kate, looking curiously at the features of the man soon to be merely a face. "Good evening, Kate. I see you have found yourself some fun." She seems uncertain about it really being fun but does nothing to stop it from happening either. She offers a smile of greeting to anyone else here (Lea for sure, Shau if she approaches as well) then goes back to just watching.

"The sand is fine. My backside is already wet and sandy from sitting there." Kiare just smiles up at Jaren and then setting the last little bit of her sandwich back on the plate she reaches up to caress his cheek whispering softly to him.
Another grin and she lays her head back against his shoulder sighing softly as she takes a sip of the juice staying close up against Jaren. The setting sun makes a pretty scene on the water and she watches the orb sink into the water letting her words to Jaren sink in with him and not expecting a response right away.
Kiare whispers, "I.. I think I'm starting to fall hard for you."

Jaren smiles and squeezes her shoulders gently as he rests his head on hers and grins. Out of the corner of his eye he sees the small group burrying Dain in the sand and can't help but giggle a little bit. He chuckles a little more before turning his head to watch the setting sun and squeeze Kiare's shoulders again and just smiles while whispering something for just her.
Jaren whispers, "I think I am for you as well, my sweet."

Okay. Maybe putting Dain's watch in her halter was not such a good idea. The thing has an alarm of some sort and it begins to go off. Of /course/ it got set to buzz, so it vibrates. Kate can't help it... she shrieks a little and claps a hand to her bosom. Standing, she looks down at where the cloth begins jumping around, "Oh! E... Excuse me. I need to ... turn it off!" Turning, she darts away across the beach heading for ... the beach house? Within a few moments, she is gone.

As Shau is invited to take part in the prank, she shrugs her shoulders slightly, figuring to herself 'why not?', then walking towards Kate and Lea and the approaching Kartijan. "Evening, ladies." she says, and it might be noted that there is something on her accent, as if the Rs and Ss were emphasized slightly... Then again, as Kate makes her... exit, the tall redhead merely raises an eyebrow, trying to suppress her laughter...

Lea explodes into fits of laughter as Kate runs off and as a tear runs down her cheek she says "Hey...there...I..." she continues to laugh and bury Dain. As she composes herself she says "Well, now that Kate has..uh..vanished...wanna help?" she grins and chuckles lightly, looking down at Dain's pale face "Gods he'll be ill tomorrow, and I'm on babysitting duty for tonight too"

Kartijan jumps at the suddeness of the alarm and looks to Kate with a confused expression as the other woman jumps up. She watches as Kate dashes off to deal with her dilemma, a half-grin upon her lips, then turns her attention back to the 'festivities' immediately before her. She nods to Shau'ri, apparently not noticing anything about her speech, as if the 'accent' might be something of either little consequence, or possibly familiar enough to simply be overlooked. "Thank you, but I think I shall simply observe," she responds to Lea's offer then looks again to Shau'ri, wondering if she would take Kate's place in the process of teaching Dain a lesson.

Brown eyes lift to study Jaren's face and Kiare smiles softly, once more her fingers caress his cheek and she speaks softly, for his ears alone. The laughter at Kate's exit is supressed but not completely gone but that's because she's a bit distracted by what she had to say.
Kiare whispers, "What do we do? Will we... be in trouble with the Director? They won't let us work together will they?" The tone is somewhat concerned at the end.

Jaren grins a little at Kate's departure and whill have to remember to tease her about it in the future. Not to mention letting Dain know that he needs to retrieve his watch. He smiles back into her eyes for a couple of minutes before returning her words in a similiar volume and for only her ears. Though his shoulders can be seen to be shaking a little still from the poor actress and her alarm.
Jaren whispers, "He wont say anything. My former partner was married to another agent and it wasn't an issue. Besides, I'm in charge for the time being and he has told me to run things as I see fit." He shrugs, "So he wont say anything."

Shau'ri first eyes Dain's body half covered with sand, then glances up at Lea, and then, finally at Kartijan, cat-like eyes sparkling with amusement. "Interesting, indeed," she says at Kate's departurea slight chuckle escaping her lips. Then, there is another look given to Dain, and she remembers his antics of about an hour ago, and she says, "Well, those who drink like this are almost begging for something to happen to them. At least, no one is tossing ice cold water all over him..." So, that means she is going to help? Oh, yes, indeed, actions following words as she crouches to scoop up a handful of sand...

Kartijan still has that half-grin on her lips as she watches the two women molding the sand into Dain's own private blanket.

Leaning up Kiare attempts a nuzzle at Jaren's cheek words softly whispered close to his ear. A sly and wicked smile touches her features but she does appear to be behaving herself.
Jaren senses, Kiare's lips brush against your ear with each word, "So... where are we sleeping tonight, and what happens from here on out, love?" The last word is slow and drawn out, almost breathy in its near silence.

Jaren blushes slightly and grins a little at her words, he can't quite help but laugh a little at the same time. He smiles and whisper back at her, his voice still quiet, but before he does continue speaking he has to take a quick drink of whatever is sitting nearby. Spying a glass left in the sand, he picks it up and hopes it isn't too full of sand. Swallowing quickly he smiles and looks back into Kiare's eyes.
Kiare senses, Jaren shudders slightly, the motion only noticable because she is so close to him, "Well I think my house should be fine. Dain can sleep in his sand bed or wander off or whatever. The only being in my house is that infernal droid." He smiles at her, "And the dogs guarding the house. But we'll be inside and they'll be out."

Shai keeps busying herself by helping Lea cover Dain with sand, and the amused little smirk on her lips is quite evident. In a way, it is good that she is not glancing towards Jaren and Kiare, because, though it is a sure bet she will try to torment her boss later on, she has managed so far to keep her mind occupied so as not to go back to dwell on her earlier thoughts. So, it is now back to the playground, this time, it is a sandy one with a drunken, sleepy target.

Kartijan takes a moment to turn her attention back to the Festival party for a few minutes while Shau'ri and Lea finish moving the sand needed to submerse Dain completely below the chin.

Kiare laughs softly and closes that last inch or two between herself and Jaren a hand lifting to lay against his shoulder as she whispers again. The impishly wicked smile on her face says she knows _exactly_ what she's doing to him as her fingers trail down the front of his shoulders and over his chest. A tip of her head and Kiare's nose brushes against the underside of his jaw as she whispers yet again, she's making it hard on him.

Jaren grins a little and blushes slightly at her words, but laughs at the same time and traces the back of a finger along the side of her face smiling as he looks into her eyes and whispers to her in turn. His voice quiet and not audible to anyone else of the din of the other party goers.

Shau'ri keeps helping Lea bury Dain. In fact, he is already covered in sand completely, only his face is left free so he can breathe. With a glance to Kartijan, the tall redhead chuckles slightly. "So, what do you think of our handiwork here?"

Kartijan is seated in the sand to one side of the semi-buried body of Dain, watchng Shau'ri and Lea add more sand to his private blanket.

His hands linked behind his back, another figure can be seen moving on the beach as well. His attention seeming to rest out against the water and the waves that crash against the shore more than the actual beach, though now and again Kelidon does look at those enjoying the last moments of the celebration. Shaking his head a little bit, his lips curl into a faint grin as he watches some of the antics though.

Kartijan turns back from looking back at the bonfires and festivities she is supposed to be hosting to glance at Dain again as her attention is drawn to the fact that it is now time for Lea to babysit him til he wakes so that he remains safe, regardless how embarassed he may feel to regain consciousness now. "O think if he is smart he will think twice before he lets himself get into a situation like this again!" Her eyes are twinkling and the half-grin is still upon her face when she looks over to Lea then back to Shau'ri.

Standing near the waterline watching the sunset Kiare has her head resting against Jaren's shoulder and his arms are around her and his chin against the top of her head. As the last rays of the sun sink into the waters the bikini clad blonde draws back from Jaren wanting to move and sit on the veranda steps. She's loved watching the sunset since she was a small child and even having seen it on other planets nothing compares to her homeworld of Corellia.

Having found little to occupy her time, Gabrielle finds herself returning to the beach. It had proven enough amusment earlier, and she needed to keep her mind off things. She lets out an exhasperated sigh, giving herself a mental shake. She was doing too much thinking these days. When had she become such a thinker? Her eyes skim the shore, many parties still going on but from the looks of it, a good number of them were already winding down. No matter, there was enough to pass the time with just watching. Slowly she makes her way down the slope, slipping a bit on some loose sand but keeping her balance easily enough. She takes a seat near the grassy edge, close to where she had sat just a few hours before just in time to catch the last glimmers of sunlight disappear beyond the watery horizon.

Jaren smiles at her as he reaches out to hold her hand and move slowly towards the steps to watch the last rays of the sun as they move over the horizon and reflect from the waters surface, sending rays of orange, purple and crimson skimming across the oceans surface. He seats himself down on the steps and smiles up at Kiare waiting for her to sit down as well so he can wrap his arm around her again.

"Now now, Ms. Lore, are we taking advantage of drunk citizens?" comes the comment from Kelidon as he nears the group, his gaze going down to the buried man for a moment before he shakes his head a little bit, his lips curling into an amused smirk. "Does he deserve such a fate as this?"

"Indeed, Miss..." And it is at this point that Shau'ri realizes she still has not introduced herself, nor does she know the names of the others next to her... "I'm Shau'ri, Shau'ri Vizjerei." says the tall redhead, glancing at Kartijan and extending a hand towards her in salute. Though, Kelidon's unexpected approach at least reveals Kart's surname to Shau. Golden cat-like eyes turning to glance at the newcomer, Shau offers a nod in salute as she says, "At least, this type of joke is the harmless type, as he will have someone watching over him tonight." she adds, signaling to a tall Horansi female who moved a side a few moments before, probably looking for something to drink. A slight accent might be noticed on her words, some sort of little emphasis on the Rs and Ss, but not quite traceable to a specific planet...

Gabrielle chuckles to herself as she spots the group she had been observing earlier, though it's harder to make them out in the dwindling twilight. Was that one of them buried in the sand? She squints a bit, then sits back, elbows resting on the soft sand behind her. The freedom of youth, she ponders, and innocence. Her head cocks slightly to one side as she recognizes a face among the crowd.

Kiare chooses the step directly in front of Jaren settling down with her back to him but up close as well. "The evening was quite nice. So many people, but I suppose it worked out all the same." Her gaze goes once again to the last rays of the sun and she wonders if she shouldn't put her shorts and shirt back on over the swimsuit.

Jaren smiles and wraps his arms around Kiare's waist for a moment then bursts out laughing. So hard that his entire body is shaking. He looks over at the poor Dain burried up to his chin in the sand and surrounded by those who had visited the joke apon his passed out unsuspecting form. After a moment he taps Kiare on the shoulder, "This is too good. I'm sorry. I just HAVE to do this the poor passed out Dain." He grins wickedly as he hops up for a moment and runs into the house. When he returns he is brandishing a bright silver perminent mark like a sword and grinning broadly, "I think he could use a bit of a facial decoration as well." He grins broadly has he jumps the railing then kneels down next to the man, draws on his face for a moment then backs away and goes to sit back down behind Kiare. The laughing shaking him as he grins at Dain's new mustache and glasses.

Shau'ri seems to be rather calm under the circumstances, just that hint of a devilish smile playing upon her features as she watches Kartijan fidget, steppin in to say, "Miss Lore just watched, and when she and I arrived here, the deed was halfway done..." But, what started out as mere amusement turns into a burst of laughter as she sees what Jaren ends up doing to Dain... "Oh Sweet Goddess... This is just too much..."

Kiare moves to Jaren's side and whispers something to him. Then grinning she heads into the house and moments later she's returned. Razor in hand to assist in Dain's new hairdo! She skips down the steps and bounces across the sand giggling to stand next to Jaren again, "I got it. You want to help?"

Jaren laughs evilly but shakes his head, "Only one can hold a razor, but I will definitely be here watching and laughing as you do so." He laughs deeply and can't help tip over onto his side in the sand. The poor guy was going to have a heartattack when he woke up. But that is the peril of being the first one to pass out at a party. The rest of the drunks could get restless and find them easy game.

Politician, philosopher and party boy? Gabrielle barely represses a chuckle, watching Kelidon interact with the group. "Wonders never cease" she says quietly to no one in particular, not that there was anyone truly close enough to her her comment.

Another party just up the beach winds down, the party goers picking up chairs, tables and what remains of quite a feast. A group of boys is still busy playing hoverball, tossing the weighted hover sphere from one side to the other. One of them lugs it a bit too hard, sending it spiraling directly for the crew that Gab has been watching (ie, you guys). She sits up, watching the ball as it zooms with a bit of force. "Watchit!" She calls out to them, hoping at least one of them will look up.

Kartijan blinks at Kelidon's words, somehow having expected some other reaction, and if at all possible blushes more for her presumptuousness. "Indeed, uh, Sir," she manages as she watches him before glancing a moment at Dain, then trying to withhold a sudden fit of the giggles she moves one hand to hide the smile which has formed on her lips. She would consider moving to one side as Shau'ri speaks on her behalf except she is afraid she might stumble so she jsut stands where she is trying to regain her composure. "I think," she offers carefully, "That it is in my best interests to stumble onto any more such 'scenes' for the rest of the festivities this weekend."

Kiare hops over to stand at Dain's head and the kneels down. She grins at Jaren then smooths Dain's hair in preparation for the first pass with the shaving impliment. That first stroke is an easy one, as is the second, but by the time the third is half way done she hears the call to watchout and looks up in time to see the incoming missle.

His lips curl into a widely amused grin at the antics as he shakes his head. A chuckle is given toward Shau'ri again, before Kelidon's attention shifts toward Kartijan. "OH, I was merely asking, not to worry. I haven't seen a thing." Her further words only seem to amuse him more. "Enjoy yourself, young lady. Nothing wrong with harmless fun." And with that he turns to walk away, though Gab's words bring him to a pause. Pity too, as if he had kept moving the ball would've missed the back of his head. As it is, the ball doesn't, and down Kelidon goes into the dirt.

Jaren's laughter stops for a moment as he hears Gabrielle's shout and he looks up just in time to see the hoverball smack Kelidon square in the back of the head. Pushing off the sand he rushes over to the man and rolls him onto his back and checks for breathing and a pulse, "You ok, bud? That looks like it had to hurt!" His voice is a little quiet, but he tries to put a little humor into it as he was taught in his basic first aide classes.

Kiare blinks and rises, she's the one with medical training and she heads for the man leaving only half of Dain's head shaved. She hurries over to Jaren's side and kneels down next to him, "Do you need my help?" He should after all know about her medical training given the background check he did on her.

"Sithspawn..." Gabrielle curses as she scrambles to her feet, jogging the few meters towards the group as she notices that not everyone is exactly out of the way. As the ball impacts Kelidon, she winces, visibly, picking up her pace.
"You two!" She calls to the youth that are hot on the ball's trail, stopping to watch in an odd mingle of amusement and fear as their wayward toy hits it's mark. They look at Gabrielle, a bit blanched. "Is he alright?" One of them pipes up.
Gab gives them a look that she used to give her new recruits, one that did not beg to be questioned. "Stay there." are her only two words to them, for the moment. Gab is now right among the group, dropping down to help Jaren bring Kelidon to his feet. "Anyone else hurt?" She asks concerned.

Knowing that Kiare has more medical training than he did he simply steps aside and lets her handle it, but doesn't move too far away in case he is needed for anything. Looking up he sees the two boys who apparently are the owners of the way ward ball. He gives them a look for a moment, but then turns his attention back on the man with magnetic head.

At Gabrielle's shout, Shau'ri is able to react quickly to get out of the way, even managing to move an arm so as to make sure Kartijan moves as well, and hopefully, she won't trip or fall either. But, she can't do anything to help Kelidon as he gets hit smack on the head with it, causing her to /wince/. A lot. "Oh, Goddess... Will he be alright?" She asks, as she sees that Kiare and Jaren are helping him... and then she sees Dain's half shaved head, and she winces some more, but for entirely different reasons... Maybe the joke is going too far already? Oh well, Jaren knows him. He can tell.

Kiare slips her hands under the man's head carefully feeling the back of the neck and the back of his head, eyes close she concentrates on what she feels wanting to be sure that nothing appears too terribly wrong before she attempts to sit him up. One does have to be careful even with all the advancements some things are still delicate matters.

Oh yeah, those eyes are focused. Riiiiight, focused on about twenty different objects. Reaching a hand up to point toward Jaren, Kelidon wags a finger at him. "If I pretend to be dead, will she give me mouth to mouth?" he asks, though one has to wonder if he's talking about Kiare, since he is pointing toward Jaren, and not the young lady in question. He then closes his eyes and rubs the back of his forehead, "Okay..." he starts to say then, before he pauses as if to focus his thoughts. "Ow."

Jaren chuckles at the man as he appears to be alright and and even more so at the man's comment, "Well good sir, I definitely am not female, and if you are referring to someone else, I can't answer that." He chuckles a little more and shakes his head, "I think you should go to a hospital, though. You could have attled something pretty good inside your skull." Walking over he picks up the ball and hurls it in the direction of the two boys, a little over their heads so they have to jump to try and catch, "Next time be more careful!" He shouts in their direction and then turns back to the gathered group of people.

Gabrielle cocks an eyebrow, lips twisting to hide her laughter. Had he meant Jaren or Kiare? "Mr. Blackthorne, I doubt you'd do anyone any good if you pretended to be dead." Is all she can manage before glancing about. She nods to Jaren "Hospital's a good idea, though."

Kiare leans a little closer in to Keli smiling at him, blonde curls falling around her from the ponytail, "Hi there, cutie. Can you do something for me? Tell me how many fingers I'm holding up." She lifts a hand and holds up three fingers in about a foot away from the man's face,."

It'll take a long moment before he actually does answer Kiare, which comes out as "Huh?" first before he grunts once, and focuses his eyes on the fingers. "Five." comes the first response out of Kelidon's lips as he wrinkles his nose at the young lady. "Or rather four and a thumb. Three pointing toward the water, and one, with the thumb, folded down against your palm." He'll then try to slowly sit up, unless someone objects to that, though. "Not a chance I'm going to the hospital tonight. I've not /that/ old yet."

Kiare laughs softly and leans in to kiss the man's forehead, "You have a hard head, sir. Lucky for you. You'll probably have a doozy of a headache for a couple of days though, and a nice lump to boot. Still, a stop by the hospital couldn't hurt. We wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you." Another grin, "Are you ready for help up?"

Jaren grins at the man's answer and just shakes his head, "I think he'll be fine. But the hospital is still a good idea for ya." He grins as he turns to look at the forgotten burried form of Dain and laughs even harder after seeing the man's half shaven head, "I don't think he is going to forget this little party anytime soon." He chuckles but doesn't say anything about finishing the job on his hair, as it is obvious he thinks it would be funnier to leave it as it is.

"Young lady, at the risk of upsetting your boyfriend, you're free to help me up anytime." Kelidon states simply as he offers his arm out toward Kiare, though his other hand reaches up to rub the back of his head again. "And got the Corellian mountain range growing back there. Any larger and we'll have an erruption." he states with a faint smirk. He'll let Kiare bring him back to his feet though.

Kiare moves around and assists tha man to his feet grinning, "I'm not sure if Jaren is my boyfriend or not. My boss I'm sure he is though." It's the medic in her letting the man lean against her as much as he wants, and possibly more than he needs, afterall she _is_ Corellian and everyone knows Corellian women love men of all types, even if they have one already.

Gabrielle stands and steps back falling into the background. They seemed to have things well underway and Kelidon didn't seem too worse for wear. Why she even approached in the first place.... As the party helps the fallen to his feet, Gabrielle slips back towards the area she had been observing from, kicking aside some empty bottles, before glancing back towards the group once more and chuckling to herself. Ah well, cest la vie.

Given that everything now seems to be under control, Shau'ri realizes that she is feeling somewhat tired, and that, perhaps, she should make her way back to her ship... or perhaps Jaren has an extra room she can crash on? Hrm, probably her ship is the better option, if only for the fact that it is her usual point of contact. So, after she takes one last look to ascertain everybody is going to live, etc, Kelidon most of all, the tall redhead will take her leave of those present, her host most of all, and will make her way back to the city...

Jaren smiles as the man is brought to his feet and moves back over to him, "You sure you don't want anyone to take you to see a doc? While Kiare is quite the medic, I'm sure a doctor would be more sure there isn't any internal problems." He grins a little, "Not to mention he may be able to give you something to take the edge of that headache I'm sure you going to have." He smiles and watches as Gabrielle moves back off towards the out reaches, he waves and offers a shout in her direction, "Thanks for the help and warning!" He smiles as he looks back to the others gathered around the politician.

Rubbing the back of his head for a moment then, Kelidon just hmms a little bit more to himself as he blinks his eyes a little at Kiare. "Your boss?" he asks for a moment before he just shakes his head once. And then, something else seems to take him as he stands a little straighter. Almost like an old military warhorse. "No, no doctors tonight." he states simply as he takes a deep breath and lowers his hands. "This has been enough of a spectical for one evening. I shall be fine. I trust that the kids with the ball were chased off?" K

Kiare grins and winks up at the man, "Yes, I'm a swoop racer and he owns the swoop I will ride." She is tempted to reach up and check that knot again but just says, "If that headache gets to bad I can try to kiss it better." There's a teasing note to her voice, who knows if she's serious or teasing.

Gabrielle reaches the spot she was at, but doesn't sit, instead waves back to Jaren as if to say 'no problem'. The group to which the guilty party had belonged to had since vanished. Probably afraid they'd get sued, Gabrielle muses when she looks over to the now empty part of the beach. Well teh good news was that they had left some public benches vacant now and that is where she chooses to take a seat at. The moon would be rising shortly and she wanted to stay long enough for that.

Jaren chuckles, "More like they chased off, I sent their little toy for a ride on the air currents for their troubles." He grins a little and tucks his hands into the pockets of his shorts and rocks back and forth on his heels.
Jaren looks at Kiare for a moment, "Only your boss? I'm hurt." He puts on a fake pouty face for a moment, but can't hold it for too long as he begins to chuckle a little and soon the whole look is gone and his face is one of mischievious delight.

"Should be careful about to whom you make such offers too, m'lady. You never know when one might just take you up on such an offer." Kelidon says as he offers a wink toward Kiare. He pauses then for a moment as he seems to gather more of his thoughts, and sends a simple nod toward Gabriella before he regards the others at his side then. "Swoop racers, hmm?"

Gabrielle doesn't see Kelidon's gesture, her back already to the group as she continues toward the benches. She drops into it with a contemplative sigh to await the rise of the planets lunar sattelite.

Kiare winks back at the tall man, "It is not an offer I make frequently." A grin lights her face, "I should introduce myself. My name's Quinn, Kiare Quinn." Not that the name would mean much to most people unless the knew about her brothers swoop racing careers and connected the last names. "I've just recently been signed on to race the Crimson Myst for Team Callendor." She grins at Jaren, "One needs to give information before things are certain." A wink is tossed at him and she blows him a kiss but her attention is back on Kelidon.

Jaren grins slightly at her back and then walks over towards her and wraps his arms round her waist from behind and leans down to lightly plant on kiss on her exposed shoulder and then whisper very quietly into her ear so that she alone hears the words for the time being.
Jaren whispers, "I would very much be honored to be considered your boyfriend." He smiles and kisses her ear since his lips are so close anyway.

Nope, doesn't seem to make even the slightest dent in him at all, least for the introduction. "Kelidon." he states simply, as he rubs the bump on the back of his head again. "Pleasure meeting you both, though next time, one of you guys can provide the entertainment. I should be going, however. I'm afraid the hour is growing a bit late for me."

Kiare grins up at Kelidon, "A pleasure, but Dain over there was supposed to be the entertainment. Passed out cold while flirting with a Horansi girl." She looks over her shoulder at Jaren and nuzzles his cheek softly and whispers to him content just to stand in the circle of his arms.
Kiare whispers, "You are very dear to me, I just... I wasn't sure what you wanted this to be and I know better than to push or presume."

As most events on Corellia, the moon rise is just as dramatic as it's sunsets. It begins slowly, large luminiscent orb barely peeking over the horizon as it casts a silvering shimmer on the landscape. It rises quickly, moving in it's celestial track up the darkened sky. It was a full moon this night, so the brightness from the moonlight was unmatchable.

Gabrielle observes it in silence, enjoying the beauty of nature and letting all thoughts and sounds lay in waiting for the time being.

Jaren smiles and nods to the man, "It's a little late for myself as well." He nods to Kiare, "Thought while I can't really speak for her, I know that I am thinking of a warm bed." He grins a little as he bends down slight and slides one of his arm behind Kiare's knees and the other behind her back as he lifts her off the ground, "What do you think, is it a good time to call it a day?"

"Flirting with a Horansi girl is bad news already." Kelidon says with a faint smirk before he shakes his head a little bit. "Though, yes, he does get what he deserves for passing out at the party. It was definitly a pleasure meeting you gents. Enjoy what remains of your evening." And with that, he dips into a shallow bow, and then turns to walk off the beach proper.

Kiare eeks softly but her arms go around Jaren's neck quickly, "I do believe I have been up since before dawn and a warm bed would be most welcome. I haven't gotten a cot installed in the Heartbreaker yet so I wasn't sure where I was going to be sleeping. Maybe Da's but that's not the best part of town to be wandering into especially at this hour."

Jaren grins a little and slowly begins to walk towards his own estate perched on the beach, "How about my place? I have a couple of extra rooms if you like, though at this point if you want to share the big comfy bed, I think I am a little to tired and a little to inebriated to do anything that would be considered indecent." He chuckles a little as he moves up the steps and out of the sand onto the porch.

Kiare laughs softly and lays her head against Jaren's shoulder as he walks.

The moon continues it's rise, the waters of the ocean reflecting it's light. The entire shoreline is now engulfed in soft moonlight. Many party goers extinguish their lanterns, enjoying the wash of silver which seems to light up the place nicely enough.

Jaren grins broadly as he finished moving up the steps and into the house. After shutting the door with a foot a couple of light come on and a loud crash can be heard as if a droid is being kicked out of the way against a wall.

Kiare senses, "Jaren grins slight and turns to kiss her deeply as the door closes then the droid stumbles into the room after turning on the light. Irritated with it's earlier behaviour, he kicks the thing against a wall and smiles back down at Kiare, "Sorry about that." He kisses her again and brings her into the bed room, gently sets her on the bed and shuts out the lights.
