| GVO |
Ground Vehicle Operation. Skill used to pilot swoops. |
| Maneuvering |
Abbreviated 'Manv'. How well a swoop is handling. |
| S.Vanes |
Steering Vanes. Aide in swoop maneuvering. Upgradable. |
| SRU |
Swoop Racing Unit. Measures swoop speed for track/lap times.
Add swoop thrust and pilot's velocity GVO +checks. |
| Stock |
A swoop with no upgrades, systems all at level 1. |
| Thrust |
Thrusting system of a swoop. Aides velocity output. Upgradable. |

Turbo system of a swoop. Aides velocity output. Upgradable. |
| Velocity |
Abbreviated 'Vel'. Speed of a swoop, measured in SRU's. |
Swoops can only be upgraded in certified repair garages, most of which can be easily located
within high-profile swoop arenas. Costs vary depending on the type of system being worked on,
the level of upgrade, and the current state of the galactic economy.
There are 6 different components of a swoop which can be upgraded to increase either the
maximum speed or the maneuverability of the vehicle. In turn, each system has four levels of
upgrades that range from 1 (stock) to 4 (max).
| ENGINE: |
The engine of the swoop produces the thrust used for forward motion. Each level of
upgrades increases the maximum speed attainable.
|
| THRUST: |
The thrust system of a swoop toggles the output of the engines using the handlebar
throttle. Upgrading the thrust system improves the swoop's ability to use the engine
to its maximum capacity, there by increasing the maximum speed attainable.
|
| ELECTRICAL: |
The electrical system is responsible for connecting all major systems of the swoop
together. Upgrading the electrical system will make the swoop more responsive and
increase maneuverability.
|
| S.VANES: |
The steering vanes (fins) are responsible for steering the swoop. Upgrading the fins
increases responsiveness and maneuverability.
|
| TURBO: |
This vital component regulates the additional power fed into the engine while thrusting
(especially during overdrive mode). Upgrading will increase the maximum speed attainable
by a fair amount.
|
| EXHAUST: |
Responsible for removing byproducts from the engine produced during normal use and for
cooling the engine during times of strain, the exhaust system can increase the maximum
speed a swoop can attain if upgraded to be more efficient.
